People don’t realize how many times their life is actually in danger when fishing. Just a couple things go wrong, you slip on a rock and before you know it you’re swimming. Fortunately in the woods the only three things I would worry about are 1.) moose 2.) black bear complete with cubs 3.) buck during the rut. Other than those 3 scenarios there isn’t much in the Maine woods that will try to kill you

I hear you... those are my worries, especially the bull moose during rutting season.
I sometimes worry about big cats stalking as well.
I used to watch a show called Survivorman (Les Stroud). He once said (I am paraphrasing here) if you only knew how close unseen dangerous animals were to you when you were in the woods, well... you wouldn't go back into the woods.
Thanks for watching and commenting, Paul.

...lines up to cast into weeds just 10 feet away....perfect cast right into the weeds .... "Ah! Snagged!" ???? At least after the second snag you decided to move on to less weedy territory. Got to get your phone a protective wet suit now? he he he

The phone sliding into the water... I just wish if it were going to submerge itself with the tripod sticking up like a weed, it would have at least been recording. I would like to have seen the footage of it tumbling and slowly sinking.
