2016年因演唱天后張惠妹歌曲「三月」Demo而被經紀公司相中來台發展的Morrison，歷經比賽、創作、發片所帶來的壓力與瓶頸，引發自律神經失調，因此成了急診室的常客。離家長達三年之久的Morrison開始自我懷疑、是否該繼續抱持音樂夢還是重回加州的穩定生活，想起遠在加州的家人和開著車倘佯在加州一號公路上的風景。「不要放棄！再給自己一點時間努力看看吧！」母親簡單的一句話，卻補足Morrison遺失已久的信心，想起當時放棄一切來台的決心，更想起遠在加州的母親一路以來的肯定與支持，讓Morrison突然有了靈感、寫下了「Oh Ma California」這首歌曲，每當感到自我懷疑之際，也許你只是累了，聽聽這首歌，想想自己是如何堅持到現在的，試著找回當時的勇氣與力量，休息一下，而之後的事會怎樣，就再說吧。
