- Had a few minutes before the storm hit the other day after work. Thought we would all take a little ride through the back forty and see what fun we could have. My stupid mistake was taking that big old 2wd suburban. Thinking the weight and v8 would give me an advantage when I was truly mistaken! But alas its alright. We will try again in the next one.

I have a "99 Expedition myself, 20 years later and it is by far the best vehicle I have ever owned. My mom was the previous owner before I bought it off of her, it left her stranded one time in all of it's life in 2014... It died while driving and once she pulled it over it wouldn't start..She had a tow truck come and pick it up and drop it off at home, once she got it home she tried to start it up "in front of the tow truck driver" and it started right up. Those damned ignition coils are that trucks worst flaw.
*that Suburban is nice! would have been nice if you had a better battery in it and better tires on it where you could have done more but that aside i'd drive it. those things come with an Aluminum drive shaft in them and they will go where you point them usually, My wife's 98 sure as hell did. kinda funny you kept calling it a Tahoe. Kinda threw me off specially after i saw the back doors. Only a Suburban has the full window on the back doors. the tahoe's have that half roll back window. still love them both personally. my wife's suburban had 379,000 on it when we got rid of it and we've wanted another one since. they are just such good traveling vehicles*

Yeah they were offered in all wheel drive which was very rare in the minivan market.

Yeah, love the off roading you guys did! It's a shame that the awesome Suburban didn't go uphill and died at the end. Still are Chevys great cars, although this one if for Ford...😉 *Could you do like a junkyard rescue?* Than you pick one car out of the yard that we think is worth saving and you have to get it running and sell it so it doesn't get scraped or crushed. Would be a great thing!

Can't blame that on Chevy that would be the result of a shitty junk yard battery. the truck will run till it completely blows up at around 400,00 to 500,000 miles usually,. we almost got 400,000 out of ours but our teenaged son had other ideas for it. Won't see no P.O.S. Ford doing those kinda miles

Yep doeisnt make sense. and looks too be in good shape also.. It just looks like my 97 eb even with a bull guard well mine has the police one And 33 inch tires. But yep same looking truck:) 215k miles and still going. ony thing that im having issues with is the 4x4:/
I agree I would have never scrapped that expedition. It looks nice and still going. I wish I had an Eddie Bauer, I want all the good stuff but I can’t complain about mine with 356,xxx miles lol it’s the most dependable trustworthy thing I ever owned. And it goes anywhere I want it to.
Jonathan Mitchell my 2010 Focus only has 91,356 miles but carcomplaints.com gave it a seal of pretty good so I'm going to be laughing at Honda Civic owners when my car will still purr like a kitten when it has over 500k miles 😂
