In this presentation about ‘Our Lady and the visionaries of Knock’ we look at the circumstances surrounding the apparition, the fifteen witnesses, Archdeacon Cavanagh who was the parish priest of Knock at that time and step back into Ireland’s past to 1536 when an Apostate Catholic King turned his bitter eyes upon a green emerald country that had once been described as the land of Saints and scholars.
