'Letter' is definitely a love letter for jungkook and you can't convince me otherwise.
Still ship poor and boring jikook? Jk hasn't met jimin on private times at all. Jk keep hanging out and living together with his husband Taehyung. these two have a special bond, it's different and i know everyone can see it, the fact that even jhope who was probably so close to jimin lately, only heard two songs from the album, which means he doesn't know about the secret song, that makes me feel how much more special the relationship between jimin and jungkook is, him knowing that this song exists, knowing that it's secret and hidden and doing the background vocals , even though jimin also did it for almost the whole song and the whole album, which means he just specifically wanted jungkook to do it beside the fact that he didn't want another person or a artist to be in his album, also how romantic and touching the lyrics are, not to forget that jungkook said on his live that he only had one lesson which is probably jimin who taught him because that he's credited with playing guitar for this song.Whatever those two are, I'm so proud of them and so touched by their relationship, and how they support each other, i hope they will always be this close and this special and continue to be on eachother side💜

beautifully said and well seen too. Yes jm only asked, wanted, and permitted one person to be there and exactly at that special place, and it can be a song for army, cause the love for army is something they have in common, but all the lyrics just scream jikook, I think lately since two years they look like a couple that went separated ways but still feel so much for each other, that they suffer from being apart. But we know nothing they may be together and even though there is a possibility that this beautiful relationship remained platonic all those years, I don't think so, and this would have been stupid, but still it is possible.

And about your opinion about their separation for two years, I don't think so They were together every night at las vegas after concerts last year and they looked so close as usual in my eyes at seoul concerts too ,at the fact music awards 2022 as well , at LA he was checking on him 3 times morning ,afternoon and evening or come at 2 am to just lay on his bed for more than hour , so i'm sure that they just didn't spent alot of time together this year only ,specificly after they started working in their solo albums ,jimin was literlly working so hard for 10 monthes ,worked with a lot producers with taeyang ,being imbassador of dior ,so he probably didn't spend a lot of time with jungkook ,and we can see how much jungkook missing him in his actions and espcially lately he did litterly answered jimin's post 'i miss you' with 'me too' watched more than 3 videos of jm at 3 am, invited him miltuple times in his live not to forget how his eyes sparkles when he sees jimin's comments on his lives,so i think it is just this period of time he misses hanging out and spending time with him ,staff always says that they never saw jimin and jungkook seprated back stage so i understand how jungkook is feeling ,If they really went seprated for 2 years, I don't think that Jungkook can hide that from us, he showed how much he missed him after not spending much time with him in 10 months , he couldn't hide that from us, imagine 2 years!

what make me want to cry more is that in the weverse version of Face, there’s a draft of Letter lyrics that Jimin wrote himself. There is a line “you are the only one that hold me tight and protect me”, and here Jimin use “dangsin” for “you” in this sentence. For some reason, they didn’t include this line in the final version. As Jikookers, we all know what “dangsin” means, I believe it’s unnecessary to explain anymore. The fact they took it out in the final version make it even more suspicious. So yes, im sure Jimin wrote this song for his special person which i believe it’s JK ofc. You can’t convince me the other way 🥹😭😭

@@introvert929 they've both used dangsin for years. The first time it was noticed (I think) was when jk had to draw an outline of jimin for run bts and used it. None of the members looked shocked he used it and in such a casual way. Almost like they were used to hearing it🙂
"Dangsin" is also just a very formal "you" and there are multiple examples of BTS addressing each other in a formal way since they respect each other a lot.
In any case, we can't know for sure why JK or JM use "dangsin" towards each other.

However, from what I heard from my korean friends, “dangsin” is meant to be used when you talked to someone you meet for the first time or for someone you’re not close with. The other case is using between married couple, which is more common. I could be wrong but the ideal of Jikook using “dangsin” is very weird thou, they’re so close and comfortable with each other so use it as the first case is not likely to happen. And if they use it in the other case then, wow 🫢🫢
He wrote these lyrics in such a clever way that it can absolutely be interpreted in many ways. Given all the BTS/Army details you really can’t fully deny that it’s a fan song. And again because it’s so cleverly written you can also apply it to a romantic relationship. Jimin is a master at hiding in plain sight and it extends to his music. He’s actually a genius for this.
But JK Is an expert in finding ways to reveal the truth Jimin may say this was a" fan song "and JK countered that by saying he is his "fan"

those who don't recognize love and true bonds keep thinking that Letter is a song for ARMYs, but I'm sure that the way Jimin wanted to include it in his album (for which he repeatedly specified that he would show his true self) and the fact that he wanted Jk as background vocals says a lot. to who supports them, they wanted to give a gift, the words are a love letter and only those who don't want to hear or see it will look for every possible excuse not to see that they have again shared their wonderful relationship with us. We will never get what they have... The most beautiful relationship in this world... I know it's not appropriate to ship them romantically.. But I can't convince myself.. They are so real.. So good to be true.. I've been an army since 2019.. The shipping thing seems so toxic and unhealthy to me, until I started to notice jikook.. Everything related to them is so special and natural... For most of the people it's just fan service... Bruh somebody can't force this much affection to each other.. and Jimin himself said that he doesn't do fan service.. After all we don't know what they are really to each other.. But I swear what they have is so strong and unique.... I want them to be happy and together always.. ♥️
I mostly agree. Shipping used to be weird to me and I still don't really ship Jikook. I believe they are together but even if I'm wrong (which I doubt), what they have is magical and I love them. I think they have shown us who they are to each other enough. They know we ship them and they love it. Jimin said himself that he's watched most Letter fan videos and most of them are Jikook edits. They have been very transparent so they don't mind shipping. I think they view it as supporting. And even if they are just friends (weirdly close ones), I wish them all the best and support anyway.

I SWEAR his lyrics referenced Serendipity, does anyone else agree? In Serendipity the lyrics were "As much as my heart flutters, I'm WORRIED that destiny is jealous of us, Just like you I'm so SCARED" aaannnndddd in Letter the lyrics go "Don't WORRY, by my side just stay... though it's SCARY, though we're afraid... never forget that we are together". When I heard them I immediately thought of Serendipity, and Letter is like the conclusion. He's made up his mind: in Serendipity he was worried and scared, but in Letter he's saying that despite that fear they have each other for whatever lies ahead. I'm proud of them.

This is a good point. There is another song Outtro Tear a break up song by Suga with the rapline released in May 2018 which I think talks about the same fear. Serendipity was written by RM for Jimin as I understand it but he called Suga blue mold/ penicillin when he had blue hair on run bts. YOU KNOW I KNOW line came from those two on their thousanth day anniversary from debut as a group which fell on Sugas birthday and recently on Suchwita Jimin said that his profession was a calico cat raising Suga( which was a marimo) that he pointed to when asked for a spoiler for the album. Marimos are a symbol of eternal love in Japan. I think this letter was written about /for / to Suga . It references lots of his songs but it is also ambiguous enough to be more than that.

They dealt with the members first. I go back to the beginning and there were attempts to keep them apart. That didn't work. Three members were difficult and almost split them up...bottom line, it made Jk and Jimin stronger. Thank RM and Hobi...Hobi especially had their back. Hobi loves LOVE❤

You know at first, i was convincing myself that the song is for Amy, when I first read the lyrics i didn't really pay attention to the details... I was convincing myself that it was for army at first because i though it was the most obvious and more rational... I didn't want to delulu myself... They talked about the fact that letter started at 6:13 in the like crazy eng (if I'm not wrong) and i told myself too that "it's normal if jk did the background vocal because, well, he is the main vocalist" .... I forced myself to believe that because i really didn't want to be delulu... But GOD I CANT
1. That interview when Jimin said that he didn't want a collab (i don't know the exact words but he said it, i know you know what I am talking about). But Jungkook is there
2. Jungkook is there, in a HIDDEN track. The last song of an album supposed to describe Jimin's journey during a certain period of his life.
3. A last song which have totally different vibe from others, more intimate, more raw, ...
4. And the fact that Jungkook only starts singing at the end (again) proves me that it was intentional because Jimin is a master of adlibs and back vocal too, he even did it in the first half of the song
5. The lyrics, the lyrics OMG it really feels so personal and again the part where they sing together, someone said that "when Jungkook starts to harmonize with Jimin, the song seems to take its peak [...] it's like as if the person who is hugging you suddenly decides to hug you harder"
6. If we suppose that it is a love song and Jimin was able to nail the background vocal of his own song, what's the point of using Jungkook voice at the end even?
I don't expect Jimin to say directly that the song is about Jungkook when he goes live and i know that he won't do it, he is gonna pull the card of this is for army, which is to be expected... Everytime i watch this edit (which is atleast 3 times a week), i end up crying. I want to leave long heartfelt message everytime. This is so beautiful. He really wrote this beautiful song for him and this edit is just too beautiful.
Je ne sais pas combien de fois j'ai regardé cette vidéo mais à chaque fois mon coeur fond pour eux. Cette chanson est magnifique et leurs voix vont tellement bien ensemble.. J'entends JM quand il dit que Letter est pour les fans mais j'ai appris au fur à mesure des années qu'avec Jikook, il faut toujours voir plus loin et savoir lire entre les lignes. Omg Yass exactly! I love the harmonica part the most. It makes me go crazy! The clip where Jimin and Jk enjoy watching the fire crackers would be more suitable to the harmonica part. But I love any other clips either 🥰❤️🔥
