If you get a grade pay 4600 then the cgl job is much better. Capf promotion is very bad. In 30/35 years of services you will get hardly 3 promotions. Also the nature of the job is demanding. Whereas in Cgl some posts get a lot of promotions... Like an IT inspector.. can reach up to deputy or a joint commissioner rank for 30,35 years of service.
