I was born and grew up in Padang where Rendang originally came from in Indonesia. We never use fish sauce and brown sugar in our recipe. More research hopefully will make this recipe to be more authentic. But I really like your technique with pressured cooker. Definitely make cooking progress away simpler as in Indonesia it takes us 6 to 7 hours to make rendang.
