The Battle of Erengrad, also known as Second Battle of Erengrad, was fought between the Von Carstein vampires and the Scaven Clan Skryre between 17 and 20 November 1151 IC. The battle resulted in the almost complete destruction of the Von Carsetin 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th Armies and the death of their commander, Isabella Von Carlstein. The battle is particularly notable for the neglect of usage of Skaven infantry and the massive use of various artillery weapons. It brought considerable prestige to Field Marshal Boilrin.

Gotta love Skaven weapon teams, they are so satisfying to watch when they destroy everything. Also Arnzipal's Horror is one of the most mysterious bound spells and it damages so much.
Eshin sorcerors have the best vortex in game for gunlines. It's huge, cheap, long lasting and it sucks infantry into the center which makes them perfect targets for plague claw catapults. It's a net of Amyntoc with teeth, what's not to like.
Yeah that's what I thaught but Legend never uses it. But I always wondered how it would go with Rattling guns, Plague Claw Catalpults and Mortars. Also would you be able to cast the plague spell in the Vortex or Summon Skaven in it to tie all the units down once it dissapears. I haven't used it myself so don't actually recall whether the speel pushes units to the edges or actually sucks them in but I think Legend should give it a shot. Or maybe he did but never heard or saw him do it.
@@Your_Paramour Hmmm oke I thaught it pushed things to the edges before I read his reply. But like I said I haven't used the spell as I don't have the dlc and so only saw it once the dlc launched. @@Mahfireballs I've never tried using it in a field battle but in sieges casting plague inside of a black whirlwind will obliterate a unit. It's probably more efficient than casting 2 plagues on a unit but I ultimately think having another plague priest over an eshin sorcerer is more valuable for the 7 summons in field battles.
In my opinion i think its because of the knockdown mechanic the game has, units on the ground are immune to damage thus units sucked by the vortex would only be damaged by said vortex but ignore all other sources of damage.
