If you are buying the bag to use, the authentication is not important. If you are buying collect then the authentication is important. I am not a collector, so the lack of authentication is not important to me. If I bought it from Dooney and Bourke, then I am happy. 😊❤

(I have this bag in the Large size) You have me checking my Dooneys for tags now 😂…Although my older ones do have them and the most recent haul of all these Dooneys I’ve added has the tag inside as well. If you later decide to sell it, people will question the authenticity of the bag. It is a very pretty bag though. Thanks for letting us know that the tassels can be removed. I am not a fan of the tassels because I’ve seen how they can widen out over time. But they are cute though.😊

I recently received a Florentine micro satchel in natural without that authentication label. I was so upset but wanted to keep the bag. I didn’t want to send it back because I felt like I waited too long (which wasn’t long at all 😂) for the bag and I just refused to do an exchange. I was happy mine had the leather strip on the feet.
I got the mini brown t-moro last week, and it’s missing the serial tag inside. I’ve been waiting so long for this color to come back into stock too. 😭🥴
I would keep it. Looks amazing and the color is beautiful. Even with the tag missing, if you ever want to sell, the YT handbag community is ready to take her off your hands 😁 Happy carry! TFS!

Beautiful bag. I don’t understand why they’re not putting the authentication tag inside of some of their bags. I really would like for DB to go back to what they’re known for because I know they have potential to produce great quality bags.
I started my D&B collection in 2015 when their leather and craftsmanship were impeccable. The leathers are now inferior. I do not believe they are drum dying the pebble leather any longer and now looking at this bag, the same goes for the Florentine. It doesn’t look like Florentine. These bags assembled in Mexico are not as good. After the cheap, terrible drawstring bag of the month in August, I don’t trust them. The prices were too good over the last few weeks, but I couldn’t buy anything. I was too leery of the quality for the price. I highly doubt the bag will hold up and that is why they are not putting the authenticity tags in them. But, if you receive it and like it, great. I’m pretty sure I’m done. I will be hanging onto my earlier bags for dear life because they aren’t making them like that anymore.
