Vikings could win the Superbowl and they'd still put them in the 3-5 spot in power rankings.
Sadly accurate, but we're used to the disrespect. lol
I love being the under dog
“Sure they won the Super Bowl, but have they really played anyone good yet? Now the Packers on the other hand…”
I can see how this will go down. Vikings win the big one. But when they're about to award the SB MVP, they cut away to show Kelce proposing to Taylor Swift, and the Vikings will never be mentioned again.
Well we deserve the disrespect for not ever winning
Vikings used their backup defense and backup WRs and RBs for the 6ish minutes of the game. Which is when the Bears scored half of their points.
VINKINGS HAVE'NT BEEN TESTED ?? SERIOUSLY ! Everyone said we had the toughest schedule the first 7 weeks and they dominated. Ya'll are crazy. I'm tired of hearing about it. Vikings are doin it this year.
And the third toughest remaining.
I literally just read a comment today on a COTY post saying how the Vikings had one of the easiest schedules in the league… um… 3 straight road games, and an international game, and similar opponents to the Lions, am I on glue or something? How is the “the easiest schedule in the league” when like you said, everyone was calling it one of the toughest schedules the first 1/3 of the season. I’m sick of these folks 😂😂
@@BettyHonest Because if you look at the strength of schedule stat we have the 3rd lowest in the league
I'm a diehard Vikings fan and you're delusional. Our interior offensive line and defensive line are too weak. The two most important areas of a team are our weakest link. That's a recipe for disaster when playing good teams. Get ready to cry the next four weeks. We probably drop at least one game probably two then lose to the rams in the wildcard.
Facts...
Still....Vikings are an afterthought in the press. Amazing
Let’s keep it that way! We like being underdogs
Wouldn't have it any other way
Yeah i used to get angry over it but i actually like it now. its wierd it kinda grows on you
Vikings would have to prove greater championship threat than Philadelphia Eagles .
Vikings haven't been tested this year? Huh? They play basically the same teams as GB/Det. They went into GB and handled them easily. The mental gymnastics these people jump through are wild!
they should’ve lost to GB lmao
@@TheLaw-mh4pb should have? but didn't. W.
@@TheLaw-mh4pb Says more about the Packers than the Vikings then.
@@OhDuhEhhaha trueeee W
@TheLaw-mh4pb They had Green Bay beat 28-0 in Lambeau in the first half. Vikings won as they should have
They haven't been tested yet? Tell me you haven't watched the Vikings play this year without telling me you don't watch Vikings games.
Maaan what postgame speech was Peter Schaefer watching..KOC is pure energy in his postgames. He just knows when to turn it off and on
I was born in Minneapolis in 1959. My first 18 years were spent growing up with the Vikings (joined the service and never got back.). They are a part of my history. In all that time, no matter how great a team they had, they never won it all. The heartbreak and disappointment they have generated for me is shared by millions of other fans. And in each new wave of excitement we bring up the past and those new to the game say, "Yeah, but this team is not those teams." And yet, the pattern persists. It has not mattered which hall of famers were present. It has not mattered how many records those team held at the time. All that matters is the score at the end of each game, and when it truly mattered, the team *_always_* had the lesser number.
The cycle of hope and then despair is real. There is only so much a fan can withstand before true apathy takes hold. For *decades* we faithful steel ourselves up and try our best to squash down the history and spin up our hope, so desperately believing that "This time it will be Our Time!" And then our hopes are crushed.
I absolutely want this Vikings team to be the one to break from the cycle. I want to see KOC hoist that Lombardi Trophy on a world-wide TV broadcast. I want to have those feelings of my team being the world champions for the first time in my life. I would like to have that special moment while I still can. Come on Vikings - the clock is ticking for all of us. Make this year *_THAT_* year!
So truth brother.
My first year of watching NFL was the 1998 year. I was 11 years old and had no idea how lucky (and unlucky) I was to have that be my first year watching NFL and understanding what I was watching.
I cried for 3 hours after that NFC championship game too…
Been through the 2000 NYG blowout, the 2009 Favre pick, the 2017 Eagles Foles debacle…. What else am I missing 🤷♂️
I was born in nord east Minneapolis on January 2nd of 1984. Been a long tough ride. But im bleeding purple 💜 for life. 💪 skol Vikings skol family 💪
@@FreddycyraxI was 16, I specifically remember thinking "Anderson hasn't missed a field goal all year, we are locked!" That thought lasted for about 30 seconds....😭 This team feels different though, KOC is purple Moses, he's gonna lead us to the promised land 🏆
This is a real one...OG...You are the culmination of the Vikings faithful...Thank you, we are with you...
👏🏼👏🏼 very well said
SKOL! Let’s not forget Vegas said we would probably get the #1 draft pick and maybe get 6 wins. Magic carpet ride on rebuilding year.
Trade that #1 pick for multiple draft choices!
6 wins will never get a team the #1 pick in the NFL!
Thanks to Sam Darnold!! Let’s go Vikes!
How funny that you said that because they are the ones close to the #1 Pic
@@MemphisDC SKOL! KOC be out here getting these jokers paid. What a blessing
In season scrimmage… is a wild take, it’s a divisional game.. those are always hard
Exactly. Weird things happen in division games all the time, so it was refreshing to see the Vikings handle their business through most of that game. The national media can yawn and write it off as a meaningless game, but many good Vikings teams of the past would have dropped a game exactly like that. Division wins are tough.
Boy imagine the Vikings vs The Bills in the Superbowl.
I'd take the Bills over the Chiefs all day! Not saying Bills are the worse football team, but the Chiefs black magic + Taylor Swift + the chance of seeing the Vikes fall to them is too much to bear.
@r0bs1904 No lies detected
@@r0bs1904 Yeah I would hope they could finally win one but if they had to lose to one of those teams I would rather see the Bills win it vs the 3 peat.
@@Arcaving_Wolf exactly my thoughts haha. And I'm a fan for a day of whoever makes it to the SB against the Chiefs.
That's the plan. It's going to be Bills vs Vikings and I have the Bills winning. Josh Allen wants his revenge for that past mistake interception that he threw.
Love the shout out to the Viking's HOF head coach Bud Carson! Coach Carson, I grant you will never be forgotten!
Grant-ed, that was a pretty bad blunder.
Bud Grant
Bud Carson was awesome, plus he was Jonny Carson's brother...
The Vikings haven’t beat anyone? They beat the 49ers, Packers, Texans, and Jets early when all those teams were healthy and projected SB contenders. Played Detroit to 2 points before their rash of injuries and lost to a healthy Rams team only 4 days later on a blatant face masking tackle of Darnold in the end zone. They’ve been dealing with injuries all season too, and like the Lions, they just keep winning.
Exactly. One of the reasons we were picked to be so bad was because we had a tough schedule. Now all of a sudden, it's who have they played? These people can't be serious.
Please, that facemask wouldn’t have changed the outcome of the game
@quantomsquirrelleap How do you know? Why even play the games at all?
@@quantomsquirrelleapI'm always of the belief that a team shouldn't get to the point in the game where one play matters. That's way different than saying one play doesn't matter. It very well could have made the difference, but we'll never know.
@@quantomsquirrelleap The rams were only up by 8 at that point. If the refs call the facemask, the Vikings can tie the game with one score and force overtime.
Vikings could win the superbowl and still be an after thought
Actually considering the situation, this won’t be an afterthought because Sam darnold wasn’t supposed to be the star and plus they were projected six games win
They beat the Packers, 49ers, and Texans. And barely lost to the rams and lions. They've definitely proven themselves, but of course they'll have many doubters just because they're the Vikings.
I swear these shows will do or say anything to take credit away from the vikings they simply dominated a division rival who a few weeks ago were a clock blunder away from taking the lions to OT
Yes. I think the Bears will test the Lions next week and they could beat them again like last year. That would redeem their season.
and the Bears beat the Rams, who this idiot said is a better team than the Vikings...I have to wonder about the "favors" these guys have to do in order to keep their jobs. I bet they're glad Diddy is in jail.
2:25 "Bud Carson" uhhh you mean Bud Grant?
Vikings destroy a team while not playing that well. Analysts see nothing.
They’re not real analysts.
One game doesn't tell you anything about a team, except how they performed in that game. It's empirical. You have to look at a body of work over a season, and at 12-2 -- well, 12 -2 should speak for itself ! Enough said !
It's amazing how the Vikings continually haven't been tested that was the same story in week 2 & 3 & 4 & 5 ECT. Oh, now they will be tested in the next couple weeks. Remember these are like the same analysts that were saying there's no way they could get to 5 or 6 wins throughout the entire season.
Yep talking heads talking, but not saying much.
Guess what, the Lions have lost two games to 'playoff teams', the Buccaneers and the Bills. So ?
His take was 💩
who the hell is Bud Carson!? Don't you mean Bud Grant!!
He was talking about the first coach to have 12 wins in the first three years.
Bud Grant did not do that.
@@n9wff Neither did Kevin O'Connell, he started coaching in 2015. As a head coach he was 13-4 in 2022 and 7-10 in 2023. I have no idea what he was talking about.
@@n9wff Actually Bud Grant did have 12 wins in his first three years as a head coach... for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers
@@brian6241
Bud Carson only coached in TWO seasons, both for Cleveland.
Bud Grant went 12-2 two years in a row (1969-1970) but not in his first years with the team.
Whatever he said, he better check his notes and research.
The Players would also have run through a wall for Mike Zimmer his first 5 Years!
Excuse me. The Bears were in it in the first half? WTF. The Vikings held them to 3 points for the first 3 quarters.
Then rested thier starters during the last 6? minutes of the 4th quarter
You might want to edit that comment and add a question mark after "half". I think you're trying to say wtf?
@@robe2504 yeah. Thanks, I will do just that. That's what I meant by the comment because the sportscaster was saying that and I was thinking "Did he just watch the same game I did.
What he should've said is that the Vikings didn't completely blow out the Bears like they should have in the first half. They played sloppy and still shut them out 13-0. lmao
@@doreencloutier1066 Skol!
Everyone is just waiting for the Vikes to fold every Sunday and they're just being proven wrong. Sour grapes 😂
I love it how the Bears were beating their chests back when they were 4-2. We all saw this coming.
2 of the easiest INT slips through Vikings defenders hands, JJ drops a TD walk in catch, numerous penalties, Darnold over throwing receivers by a lot, O Line allowing pressures all night, this is what the dreaded bad game looks like, and they still dominated the Bears.
It's the same every week. "Are we overlooking the VIkings? Maybe..." Just stop. It's not maybe, you did, you still are, and you will keep doing it tomorrow. Just give it up, we see you can't handle it. I'm sorry for you.
It’s super disrespectful to have the second best record in the NFL and then have an announcer say well you haven’t played anyone.. someone fire him
It's true though.
@@JA-gx4hbIt took a fully healthy Detroit team to win on a late field goal but they still getting glazed. Packers have 3 wins over teams that are. 5 or better but they still get glazed. Vikings have beat everyone in front of them just the same but no ones cares.
@JA-gx4hb what is your definition then of a good team, considering you obviously consider Green Bay, and Texans middling. And no I'm not going back to announce everything on their schedule.
@@JA-gx4hbIt doesn’t really matter if it’s true or not, no other team ever gets held to this standard lol. For example GB is 2-4 and the Bills are 3-2 against playoff teams. It doesn’t even consider that playoff spots are not finalized yet either. Teams like AZ and ATL can still make it and had they not played MN maybe they would be in.
“you are, what your record says you are.” - Bill Parcells
The disrespect is amazing. “Who have they played” Well they played 14 NFL teams and beat 12 of them.
The Vikings NEED to pay Flores to stay. #1 priority

KOC and Campbell aren't anything alike.....Campbell is loud and obnoxious KOC is calm and collected

Tongue slip accidentally called out her old freshman sorority club 😂 @ 0:37
Imagine starting 4-2 with a rookie QB starting to play well in 3 straight games and……proceed to lose 8 straight and your rookie QB looks scared and overwhelmed. Bears fans just keep taking L’s.
Calling Jonathan Greenard a misfit toy is just another reason I can’t take Schrager seriously.
"who did these guys play"
"these guys" destroyed the texans, "these guys" won against the packers, "these guys" lost by 2 to yalls favorite lions, "these guys" have literally done everything you wanted them to do when you said in week 4 "we need to see more, we need to see them play the lions" and after that yall said "oh but they also lost to the rams" (who btw started their healthy run that game...)
"these guys" have also dominated the falcons, won against the cardinals, destroyed the bears, destroyed the jets and the giants, absolutely dominated the 49ers, have a top 5 defense and a top 10 offense as well as one of the most reliable kickers in the league. you have to go to "oh but they had a punt blocked" to make it seem like the vikings didnt completely destroy the bears last night. ESPN predicted the Vikings to get the #1 seed.
To be fair, after the preseason was over the Vikings were "predicted" by every sports "expert" on every show (including yours) to only win 6 games this year and finish 4th in the NFC North. That's something that needs to be talked about more.
SKOLLLLLLL VIKKKIIIINNNNGGGGSSSSSS💜💜💛💛💛💛
12-2 and we are still waiting to see what kind of team they are… lmao they were saying this after Vikings beat SF, then the Texans and so on…
Sam Didn't play well early.... Team should have scored 20 points if not for Jefferson drop. Crazy talk
Yep and Sam would have had 270 2tds no picks
Why does it take the Nfl site at least 3 days BEFORE they post stuff? How many ppl are still talking abt something 3 or more days later? Dont they get paid to watch stuff going on and shouldnt they be able to make quicker decisions?
As to the comment that they were beat by the Rams i was just watching a short of that game ending no call obvious face mask no penalty against the Rams which gave the Rams 2 points in their win
The Vikings 2 losses came when Cashman was out. They would have beat the Lions with Cashman and will beat them in week 18.
Here is what the analysts are missing on this game. Two things: 1.) You expect good teams to handily win against bad teams, otherwise they have no business being a good team. and most importantly 2.) The vikings/bears are ALWAYS a 1 score close game, even in years when one team is way better than the other. Check history. So this is a historic victory for the vikings that it was not a close game. To vikings fans that realize this, they may actually become believers (yes vikings fans are always in disbelief if their team is doing good).
The hate for the Vikings is ridiculous. It’s really sad they don’t get any credit. One game at a time. SKOL
I love Jaimie! She is the real reason we are undefeated
Vikings are in one of the toughest divisions in NFL history this year and have been bested by one other team that is a current division leader. Vikings are 12-2 and have played better teams than Philly.
THE MINNESOTA VIKINGS BEAT THE CHICAGO BEARS ON SUNDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL
What I don’t understand from the media is all the flowers for the Eagles but not the Vikings when they almost have the same point differentials and record.
Eagles +122, Vikings +117
What am I missing?
Kyle with a solid Bears rant 6:16
Um the Vikes have played the same teams the Lions and Packers have played so saying they havent played anyone is suspect at best.
JJ dropped an easy touchdown, it easily could have been a blowout. KOC and Flores are a deadly combo.
Any nfl fan (except some packers or lions fans, nobody cares about the bears*) will tell you we are the clear number 1 seed, and number 1 in the power rankings. Keep disrespecting the Vikings, that's how we like it.
Always gonna be a disrespected team no matter the outcome.
Vikings are 12-2, and they belittle our victories, down play our record, question if we have the heart to win against the teams coming up on our schedule. No matter what we do, it is never good enough for these woke mobs. I get it, we're not perfect yet as a team, so we just have to keep improving and keep winning. Don't let them steal our joy.
It's interesting that they overlook the obvious trajectory with Darnold and much of the Defence both new to the team this season and becoming more comfortable with the playbook and each other, and playing better from game to game. The major errors yesterday were from a guy who only had 9 snaps in the first Bears game 3 weeks ago and is still learning the calls.
Flores has kept Turner fresh all season with only 10-15 snaps a game - only a third as many as his rookie peers like Jared Verse - but now as crunch time appears and 14 games into his apprenticeship the boss is letting him play more - doubling his snap count these past two weeks as the games really start to count. Watch this space. He could explode these last few weeks.
I love that the bears think they can solve all of their problems by drafting a #1 quarter back overall. The vikings do something similar with free agents. Both teams leave their fans with scar tissue every year! Both defenses seem to have sparks of greatness and then a stupid penalty or miscue in whos covering who blows up for big gains. Both teams had backups in, in the closing minutes. Both teams were tired! It will be tough games for both this weekend!
Talking about the Eagles like they're invincible (no pun intended 😆) when last week they almost lost to one of the worst teams in the NFL (Panthers). The bias is absolutely out of control. The Vikings should have won against the Lions. Harrison Phillips had a strip ball on the Lions end of the field, and the officials let the Lions keep the ball. That was the difference in winning and losing.
Figures that NOW this whole "who have they actually even played" argument sticks its ugly head out again.
Beat SF and NYJ when they were healthier and not tire fires, beat GB in GB, stomped Houston, lit up ATL, and have a top 10 defense in several categories.
They lost to Detroit by 2 (without Hockenson or Cashman) and then lost to LA 3 days later (again without Hock or Cashman) by going across country and losing an all pro LT mid game.
Stop with the "they haven't actually done anything to deserve wins" - you can play that stupid game for every team but conveniently don't.
The Vikings wont get respect until they win the Superbowl and even then people will make excuses, its just obvious alot of the media doesn't like them and never has
Yes please, let’s not disrespect the Bears at all, but the Vikings are free game 😂😂😂
What do the vikings 🤔 have to do to get respect? That dude is a 🤡. Sure they beat the packers and texans but blah blah blah. He acts like the other top teams hasnt lost or had close games. Not to mention we were resting some of our starters.
I think the Bears will really test the Lions in the elements at Soldier Field, and this Vikes Bears game might show how far the Lions have fallen. The Bears were all over the Lions in that second half in Detroit, but have been completely outplayed by the 49ers and Vikes since. The Bears won that matchup last year led be Justin Fields against a full strength Lions team. If the Bears do test the Lions, then the Lions road trip to the 49ers could be a real problem.
As a Seattle fan I’ll be very surprised if they don’t beat Seattle. I just hope we don’t get blown out
0:37 definition of a what??
Lol im dead
Come running team 🤣
🤔
The Bears are actually not as bad as you make them sound. The Vikings D had something to do with making their offense look terrible. You have to factor in the way the Vikings were able to stop the Bears' running game and putting all the pressure on a rookie QB who is struggling in his first year. The Bears D is actually good. The real problem with this team is that they are poorly coached. I mean it's not like the Bears are getting blown-out every week. If you want to talk about a really bad team, talk about the Giants or the Raiders. I mean think about it: the Bears have to play the Lions, the Vikings, and the Packers (three of the four top teams in the NFC) each twice a year. Really, I can't believe you guys get paid for your not understanding football.
The Bears always play the division tough.
I was rooting for the Lions until they lost Montgomery, but I'll still root for them as long as they don't get knocked out before the Super Bowl. If they do get bumped out, I'll root for the Eagles because they have the best defense
Everyone’s worried about Sam Darnolds past. But ain’t sports all about updating your resume? The present moment is all that matters.
Kyle is spot on about the Bears organization and this season. Absolutely dreadful. There has been one constant through these last few decades of futility, OWNERSHIP.
Bro Detroit lost to Tampa Bay and Buffalo. What is his point?
I'm obviously saying this as a biased Vikings fan, but we should be at least the #3 seed team. The conference should be seeded according to best record regardless of division. You can still keep the top team of each division, just seed them according to their record. It's silly that we wouldn't get a home game when we're in the strongest division, and the NFC South arguably doesn't have a team better than the NFC North's top 3.
Vikings will be 1 and done in the playoffs. just like a couple years back when they won 11 out of 11 games by 3 points or less or whatever it was. they’re lucky in the regular season but when the games matter they’ll lose soundly
The Bears weren't that kind of team to make a judgement about the Vikes? They pushed the Packers and Vikes at their home stadium, and the Lions to the brink in their own stadium in Detroit. The Bears were never in this road game at a division rival, never, and the score flattered them, as did the OT game in Chicago.
What does this guy mean when he says maybe we’re overlooking them (Vikings) because of their previous history?
he means Darnold's past, mediocre o-line, and last year's failed defense even though it is 2024 and not 2023.
@ oh pumpkin watch thanks
The Vikings haven't been tested? Wow, who is this idiot saying that? Vikings had the 3rd hardest schedule (coming into the season).
It’s the same one who said the Vikings will finish last in the division with 6 wins
What do you mean jettison themselves??.. they (Vikings) have had a better or equal record to the eagles all year long. How come it’s taken you idiots four months to come to this conclusion.. zero has changed and you act surprised
Bud Carson??? Get this hack off the air or call your channel the "XFL". What next, is the "Vince Lambrosia Trophy" up for grabs?
Perfect analogy of the Vikings this year. A bunch of Who? They have top talent but they have 3 undrafted players starting and a huge factor, they have other teams practice squad guys (2 I believe) that also are playing significant snaps. I think this team is built around receivers and allow good qbs and rb's to excel, which is opposite of high money qbs the league seems to like. We will see next year too how everything plays out.
That's okay, just keep overlooking the Vikes national jabronis, they don't need your praise nor your approval. SKOL !
Did he just say the Vikings haven't been tested? Lmao.... Where the hell did they get these "analyst" from? 😅 hahahah.
I was a bears fan for 23 years, best decision I ever made was ditching the worst franchise in sports. They should replace them with an expansion franchise.
His take on the Vikings and KOC is inaccurate
Haven’t been tested? Get this guy off the screen 😂
Darnold played like Jordan Love most of this game and the Vikes still won, just like the Packers have been doing!
Bears are going to surprise the Lions next week.
We are winning out. Calling it now
Dont forget the vikings beat the 49ers before most of the injuries, the lions barely beat the vikings before they got plagued with injuries too
Vikings are 2-2 against playoff teams he says...what happened at the end of both of those games.?
We played the exact same teams as Detroit except the Bucs and Bills, which they lost to. These people are crazy
@ethananthony7419 Ikr, the whole NFC NORTH (6 games in division)..AFC SOUTH (4 games) that makes 10 games already for common opponents of the NFC NORTH
WHY WOULD FLORES LEAVE GOING IS THIS GOOD WIN THE SB
5:57 this dude is a loser. What a bad take. We barely lost to both teams in our only 2 losses.
When vikings beat 49ers in the early part of the season the 49ers were better than what you see now to the point vikings victory was considered a upset
The funny thing is nobody mentions how they lost that rams game, and it wasn't just the face mask. Refs had 2 bogus, timely, flags that resulted in 10 points earlier in that game. Drive saving flags that were pretty suspicious.

Don't worry give it a few more years and that team will move again.
@@rob-rachschilling7953 LOL. Vagabonds, like most of the California teams in the NFL.
This bears season has to be scripted. No way a team can be this embarrassing on a cinematic level. No way even Hollywood could script having Kramer and Stevenson screw up in the same game twice. Unreal
Seahawks aren’t healthy so they should go down vs the Vikes. GB should be tough as usual. The Lions are nicked up so the Vikes should be slightly favored (perhaps). Saying the Vikings haven’t been tested is BS.
Who have they played this year? Gee, Idk.. they belong to the best division in the NFL. This talking point is tired from the national media.
I don`t make much of the Vikings, 10 of they`re wins were against losing teams, and 9 of those teams, will not make the play-offs.
