    Here's a stupid question lol I know you have backing on, but what are the othe 2 lines you have one that set up?

    • @TheFlyDudes
      @TheFlyDudes  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Mark Bump no such thing and a stupid question! So that line is a spey line that cortland makes. The yellow is the head of the line, which is way heavier and what is used to make that cast possible, and then the white is called a running line, which is really thin and light and allows the head of the line to carry the running line out as far as possible. Some manufacturers sell separate shooting heads that you attach a different running line to, so you can switch them out for a variety of uses. This line is integrated, meaning the head and running line are spliced together and don’t come apart. Just a little more convenient if you are using it for a specific use!

    • @TheFlyDudes
      @TheFlyDudes  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      any good weight forward floating line is perfect! rio and scientific anglers both make great lines! i use a lot of cortland line personally!
