Just a question - you guys don't use gloves anymore for takeoffs and landings?
No. At least as long as i have been in the herk, it hasnt been a requirement.

Nice cold air conditioned air vs a very humid environment. The J has two awesome air conditioning packs.

Hate to ask a stupid question but why the second pair of hands on the bottom of the throttle?
Its an instructor-ism. Right seater is a fairly new copilot in the herk and the left seat instructor has his hands closer just in case he needs to take the plane.
It's an aviation tradition. You can see this a lot in commercial flights.
You might want to turn the AC up lmao

It’s interesting to see the pilots take it over the gate and just shove it forward. No temp or torque limits, just let the FADEC do its thing. I haven’t had a chance to try this but I wonder if setting the frames per second up to 60 fps would help with the MFD refresh rate.
