  • Kini Kini (also called Pagapir) originated among the Maranao people in Lanao del Sur. The phrase "kini kini" refers to the way a Filipino Muslim woman walks, which is called the Royal Walk. Usually the women use scarves to show fluidity and softness. This dance shows modesty and humility, and it highlights their good social upbringing.
