Great video, Justin. I really relate about having anxiety over friends having split views and getting nasty about politics.. I respect the fact that you don't bring up your personal views. 👏
HAHA, I think this is the funniest one of your vlogs I have seen, buying underwear. my nephew comes in asking me what I am laughing at so I pointed at the screen, he watched for a few minutes and then asked if Justin was high. I said yes he's high on life
That saloon next to stagecoach used to have an old dime game machine where u hit a lever and it shot a tennis ball up and if it landed in the hole youd get a shot of boysnberry punch. It wasnt open all the time but they sold soda and chips etc..
I cannot get my husband to shop for his own underwear. I could not stop laughing at your own shopping experience. Your tour of Knott's Berry Farm was absolutely wonderful. We enjoy everything you do. Thanks for sharing. You have terrific friends and family and make amazing videos.
OMG... I remember Steve Martin playing the banjo in the park and the mega-creepy "Jesus - The Transfiguration" behind the slowly opening doors in the Old Chapel by the Lake. I still have nightmares. I think I have a vile of gold I panned at the park somewhere.
They have gluten free Bisquik to make pancakes. They would be great with the boysenberry syrup. Thanks for showing all the Knott's history. I was very little when my family came from Texas to visit Knott's & Disneyland. I only remember eating at the restaurant, & going into an attraction that showed a family talking about their experience of crossing the country in a covered wagon(did I dream that). I also remember panning for gold. Thanks for sharing.
Love the Knotts berry farm videos. I love that i know so much about a place and i have never been there. Thanks for taking us along for the ride. Maybe the next time you decide on a long road trip you can visit here In East Tennessee where we have Dollywood and the great Smokey mountains national park. It would make a great family get away for you. man i sound like a tourist person.
@ 1:05 Forget it! Just go commando! @ 26:00 Preserves are slices, or whole pieces of fruit, canned in more natural juice than sugar. Jam is crushed fruit, canned in a more sugary mixture. Jelly is strictly the fruit pectin, mixed with sugar and cooked longer, to obtain the jell like texture. The pectin is also run through filters, to obtain the clearest essence of the pectin. @ 29:00 I wonder, do they sell Dickens Cider?... @ 32:56 Cannibal Chicken!!!
Tyler and Allie r blessed to have u for a bestie...I had hysterectomy surgery last week and trying to heal up at home, but ur vlogs keeps my spirit up so thanks! By the way I didn't vote...no comment! big fan...Love ya, Jodie Chapman from Henderson, Nevada!
Thanks Justin for yet another great and entertaining video! And having Fake Tyler in the mix makes it all the more entertaining! And a big thanks for not injecting politics into your vids! Unfortunately, some TH-camrs I follow (or did follow), decided to make it very clear how they felt about the election and whom they obviously voted for. This totally left a bad taste in my mouth (and a ton of others) and was completely unnecessary. I watch and enjoy your vids to escape the sometimes harsh reality we live in and it brings me nothing but joy and pleasure in doing so...watching you when I come home from work is such a big part of my day 'cause no matter what, you are always positive and uplifting. I know sometimes thing's get rough for you too but you never let that come through in your vids and for that, I thank you so, so much. Keep up the awesome vids and definitively keep up the positive vibes throughout! Much love to you, Justin!
I've talked with one of the workers at the market place and he told me that they no longer sell the Smuckers brand of Knot's jam because they added high fructose corn syrup and the market place refuses to sell that in their store. A few years ago they made a deal to sell a local farms jams that are full of better ingredients so that's why there is not any Knots jam there.
Hey Justin, I been watching your videos for months and i love it. You are the funniest, loving guy in the world. When you were in Target getting underwear it reminded of all the times I was drag there by ex. Also he never knew what to choose from. Also it's nice seeing what Knott's Berry Farm looks like. I am from New Jersey so I have never gotten the chance to see it. I hope in the future when I move to Cali i will get to experience it.
My dad works at knotts berry farm he's been working on merry farm and my mom works at Disneyland and I soon will be working at Disney world I'm pretty excited
Justin, thanks. Thank you so much. Please, keep doing this. Whatever it is that fuels you to find motivation and positivity to make these videos, please keep it going. You're kicking ass and sharing good vibes. That's the stuff of heroes
Fun little fact, while Knott's is no longer a fully operational berry farm there is one Boysenberry plant still growing on property just behind the Railroad Roundhouse. I got to see it on a backstage tour in 2012. I hope it's still there.
Finally a video to get out of the political world and take a breather. Over the part few weeks I've had some insane political arguments, watched friendships get broken, and in general just nasty stuff, I like politics but sometimes it just gets too intense between people. Thanks for the great videos :)
Justin you're such a goofball LMBO it's nice to be able to get on here and get my mind off of this crazy world.. Thank you very much.. God bless... I've never had a sasparilla I didn't know what it was I had to Google it lol I live a sheltered life.. But it does sound good I'm going to have to try one sometime :-)
Great vids Justin. I'm from San Diego, live in Orlando now, but I miss getting Boysenberry jam. Can't find it at all out here. I love watching you go to the parks and remembering what it was like when I was a kid. The Corkscrew at Knotts was my first upside down coaster.
California Love ❤️ ✌️ I did the same thing today, went to target and wound up looking at the Christmas stuff, the well dressed fox and all the Star wars caught my eye.
Justin! I strongly recommend The Great Dickens' Faire in San Fransisco this December if you like Charles Dickens and fun. I go twice every year and it is a blast. :D
The editing is soo cool! love how you cut so fast back and forth, like when you talk to your self, and ask your self questions... would love to know how you do that...! :o)
Justin, I'm kind of relieved that someone feels the same way I do about elections. People arguing gives me horrible anxiety. My mom's a republican, my dad's a democrat, you can imagine how uncomfortable I get ^^'
As for theme park enthusiasts ignoring Knotts' history, perhaps it has something to do with when Knotts' turned their focus to roller coasters and thrill rides at the cost of theming and history. I know for me, even as a kid, that it hurt to care about it. And it is difficult for people to know about it when Knotts' barely acknowledged it. My friend and I are theme park enthusiasts with an interest in their history, so since Knotts' the first, and I don't know any of its history myself, I thought they would have historical tours when I inquired about it for my friend's visit. Nope! The oldest theme park in America doesn't do a tour of its own history. Even some of their own cast members are clueless. Compare that to Disneyland, where they constantly celebrate their history, and even have cast members who are supposed to be knowledgeable about it (tour guides and CMs at Lincoln). It's easy to see why Disneyland's is more talked about. But since I've seen so much improvement from them, I'm hoping that will change too.
From the fellow who told you about the bullet hole in the Haunted Mansion and the Bear Attack on the Mine Train.....I grew up a block east of KBF. As a teen, we "yute" would hang out there to meet girls on the weekends. At that time there was no entrance fee. I saw both Walter and Cordelia, but primarily Walter. He would walk the park and always was amenable to anyone who wanted to chat with him. From Wikipedia, here is a little trivia about the Boysenberry, and yes, Walter is responsible for what we have today..... The exact origins of the boysenberry are unclear, but the most definite records trace the plant as it is known today back to grower Rudolph Boysen, who obtained the dewberry/loganberry parent from the farm of John Lubben. In the late 1920s, George M. Darrow of the USDA began tracking down reports of a large, reddish-purple berry that had been grown on Boysen's Northern California farm. Darrow enlisted the help of Walter Knott, a Southern California farmer who was known as a berry expert. Knott had never heard of the new berry, but he agreed to help Darrow in his search. Darrow and Knott learned that Boysen had abandoned his growing experiments several years earlier and sold his farm. Undaunted by this news, Darrow and Knott headed out to Boysen's old farm, on which they found several frail vines surviving in a field choked with weeds. They transplanted the vines to Knott's farm in Buena Park, California, where he nurtured them back to fruit-bearing health. Walter Knott was the first to commercially cultivate the berry in Southern California. He began selling the berries at his farm stand in 1932 and soon noticed that people kept returning to buy the large, tasty berries. When asked what they were called, Knott said, "Boysenberries," after their originator.
I met Walter Knott when I was a little kid. I was looking at a map of the park posted in a case. Someone walked up behind me and I turned around. I turned back to the map where a picture of a man and woman was in the lower corner. I kept doing double takes between the man and the map. Yup it was the same man! My grandfather knew him well. He introduced us and I just gave him a hug. I was 5 or 6 at the time.
The Halloween Miniatures at Knotts inspired the wife and I to start collecting them a few years back and displaying them in our home :-) They are sooooo darn awesome! And pricey :-( Eeeesh..Speaking of the fried chicken we will be there this weekend to get our grub on! Yummmm!
I've stayed at the Knott's hotel and most recently in July of 2016 and I'm sorry to say it's no good... It's really run down and the sink smelled of sewage... It's a boarder line motel 6 (maybe even worse), but the food at the amber waves is not that bad and the boysenberry products are of course amazing.l, but that's about it...
I've had those canned Oregon boysenberries. (I live right down the street from Knott's, on Grand Avenue, by the way.) They're whole berries in light syrup and quite tasty. Try them over vanilla ice cream. You're welcome.
Justin I saw those stockings in Target and I just knew "Justin Scarred would love those!" I almost sent you a picture but I had to go to work. I think you should get them.
Hey Justin been watching since your Route 66 videos , which I loved and your Disney dapper days and other excellent adventures , I hope you tell your followers to vote , it does matter and yes I do I live in Canada , but here or there it does matter ;) anyways I can’t wait to show my kids your videos they are so much fun! Can’t wait to have a “fun pic “ with you one day!!
I actually learned some things about Knott's. Cedar Fair should pay you for doing this video. Fun fact, Knott's was always the place my family would go to see Santa. The good ole days.
I have been to Knotts Berry Farm a few times over the past 40 years and never saw the Galloping Goose in operation...November must be too slow a month for the steam train to operate.
EnglishLitGirl I'm think about getting a keg of knotts berry farm boysenberry beer if they sell it by the keg. I want be drunk so I won't remember the Trump Presidency.
I'm watching a guy buy underwear. I think I need to get a social life lol
Michael D , lol
But this isn't just any guy, this is THE guys JUSTIN SCARRED!!1!!

Great video, Justin. I really relate about having anxiety over friends having split views and getting nasty about politics.. I respect the fact that you don't bring up your personal views. 👏
'Can we trust me with access to the button' 😂😂😂 ahhhhh.......phrasing.
Justin!!! I sent you the Gluten Free Living & More Magazine. Yay!!! I'm so happy that you received it. Now I can send you more stuff. 😃
"He looks a little too cocky". I get it. Ha, ha.
OMG... I remember Steve Martin playing the banjo in the park and the mega-creepy "Jesus - The Transfiguration" behind the slowly opening doors in the Old Chapel by the Lake. I still have nightmares.
I think I have a vile of gold I panned at the park somewhere.

Yay!!! I can't wait to watch tonight when I'm cozy in bed with my kiddo. We almost always finish out the school night with JustinScarred.
Thanks again for the Knotts history. Going to stop by the volcanic rock garden next time I go.
Exactly what I needed today! Shout out to Tyler, love when he joins you!

Now more than ever we need positivity. Thank you for making these videos, they always bring a smile to me and my family.
Bless you, Justin! Watching you shopping for underwear chez Target is preferable to watching election coverage from any commentator.
the stagecoach ride is the best! plus I love how they built Ghost Rider over the drive into the parking lot! thanks for the videos
I've been to Knott's several times and had no idea that volcano was there. I'm going to have to check it out next time I'm over there.

Love your history vids.

Good choice
The Disneyland hotel is great. When my family and I went, we got to go to the E- Ticket Club. You can see almost everything up there.
I met Walter Knott when I was a little kid. I was looking at a map of the park posted in a case. Someone walked up behind me and I turned around. Lol you said Chonies !!!!! Love your videos!!! So glad you're from so cal like me!!!!
I love watching you annoy Tyler
Really enjoyed the Knott's history! And men's underwear sizes go by waist size, small 28-32 inch, med 34-38 & large 40 & up ;)
my birthday is December 15 and 10 days after that is Christmas
Justin I saw those stockings in Target and I just knew "Justin Scarred would love those!" I almost sent you a picture but I had to go to work. I think you should get them.
They also make the most delicious cookies, and donuts you will ever have including other baked goods in their bakery. I stop there everytime we go
You are so entertaining!!! Thanks for the smiles
You made me laugh. Thanks!
will definitely need to detox I watch a lot of videos in the coming days
loved the boysenberry beer at the chicken restaurant
Jam is just the fruit juice made into a thicker consistency. Jelly is like jam but thinner consistency. Preserves have chunks of fruit in it :)
Tyler is such a good friend.
The future looks bright! Great video!
Sorry for being nerdy, but I'm pretty sure the AT-AT display at Target is actually the AT-ACT that will be featured in Rogue One. Lol!
