I wish they were popular in the states still. I miss Melanie C. I would hope her music made it to the US and she'd be successful here too. She has a phenomenal voice. she was my favorite spice girl. I also miss spice girls.
I think the reason she isn't as popular outside of Europe and the UK is because she promotes everything herself through her own label. If she was on a bigger label still I guess she would be, but then she wouldn't have as much creative control.

The sad part is that most artists these days get famous for stick food platters on their head and wearing next to no clothes. They actually did the right thing and got recogonized because they had different personalities, that's how it should be. And for overrated, if anything they are underrated dro the fact that there time in the spotlight was so short but deserved to be longer. They are one of few artists that actually knew how to make good music and kids these days will never know that.
