I am using Cozy Bourbon Vanilla in the shower rn ( well not this second! 😂 ) and the smell is amazing, love it, but don't notice any difference between the body wash and shower gel. I never used the shower gels, but based on your reading of the ingredients it sounds like the no sulfates and no parabens is the main difference. This is what is eliminated from most more natural body care and it does cause a difference in the lather. I personally like the change and may pick some up in the future.

The body wash feels thicker, almost sticky or tacky, to me. It also does not lather as well as the shower gel. I’m not a fan.

I’m like body wash.
I had very dry skin that kept peeling. I was surprised when using the vitamin e shower gel it is all gone and back to normal when I use it !
