It's a beautiful track , I extended it as the explosive big band sound only appears once and I wanted to hear it again as it's the highlight. Totally misplaced as the opening score to Giallo A Venezia , but in a way suits it for its bizarreness. Bit like jess Franco setting his films set in a historical period but using acid jazz/psych rock but I guess it strengthens the unique flavour. Glad you enjoyed it but its only slight annoyance is its ear worm capabilities- it lasts for days !! Best 🦀
@@LOOKLOOKLOOKAGAIN - I love this extended version. A very well deserved remix, and I absolutely get the Jess Franco comparison, with perhaps some Bruno Nicolai thrown in! There's a 2004 film called 'Eyes of Crystal' - you may well have seen it - which is my favourite modern-day giallo. It captures the style of those '70s productions nicely, but with a more modern feel. Recommended viewing!
@naparry4772 I have heard of it but not seen it. Thanks for that - one on the pile for sure. The last modern giallo has been Amer which I loved and Strange Colour of your Body's Tears which I enjoyed less so but I think I was poorly at the time so maybe another visit. I have a few decades to get through though !. Best 🦀
@christenzis6237 I don't think it is. Maybe it can be sourced as digital ? It also came to light that it was composed for 1979's Giallo a Venezia however it was used a decade earlier in fact for the rare giallo 'Interrabang'. I only found that out when I watched Interrabang and recognised the composition but played at a much slower pace then of course once one of the protagonists finds a corpse this crashed in much to my surprise and joy as I love this composition so much. Interrabang features many variations of the theme. Whether you can source this soundtrack album for Interrabang I am not sure. Amazing score. Thanks for your comment. Soundtracks can be just or equally as important as the visuals themselves. Best crab
Aweeee , thank you so much for your comment. They take me ages but if it makes people happy I'm happy. Spread the word ! Currently reviewing giallo films. Documentaries on here - now looking at the individual films. Hoping to upload one very soon. Very best 🦀

@@LOOKLOOKLOOKAGAIN I'd love to compare this to the original recording. Is the original track on a compilation?
