Have a special place in my heart for these small and unique terminals, like Ghim Moh recently decomissioned, especially when most of the new interchanges are getting boring in shape. With the CDGEs soon to enter the history books, it feels surreal how years ago they were the first WAB buses in SG, and ahead of its time, now being the last type of bus model with retrofitted EDS.
@@img.7444h-png Double decker electric bus is Enviro500EV. I know it is 50 electric DDs to replace CDGE but will then be moved to Jurong West Bus Package since it is near to September 2024.
11 CDGEs remain as of now. And the eradication of these remaining will start on 24th along with those awaiting de-registration. What was the registration of that CDGE?
Will miss the CDGES buses alot when they retire. I do quite like that upper floor front shaded window that prevent sun from blaring into the bus. Not only would we see the End of the CDGES in around a few days time but we will also witness the 2nd Scania K230UB Euro V to be deregistered too. Aka SBS8743M, that poor bus caught fire while on the way back to Hougang Depot. I swear like 99% of the buses that get burned example SBS7440T & That B10TL Demo, always ended up getting scrapped. The only exception i could think of being repaired is TIB1105H, that one they repaired. Maybe it wasnt that bad damage? Idk. Edit: Also at 6:23 it looks like that Volvo B9TL wright (Batch 1/2)? Looks refurbished. The bus paint looks quite shiny and clean. Still cant believe they are already beginning refurbishment
Bukit Batok: th-cam.com/video/2SLebQ3QcbA/w-d-xo.html Shenton Way: th-cam.com/video/b5a7FAHjLog/w-d-xo.html (technically outside the terminal, I can do one of the Terminal itself next time if I return to Singapore)

True, time goes by fast, next will be the Scania KUB, and possibly OC500LE
@@img.7444h-png Now they are massively buying 1250 electric single deckers.
@@TimothyMokCJ maybe the Scania Citywide? Haven't seen that in a long time

It really feels weird especially since we grew up with these buses and now we're going to outlive them.
Into the final week of CDGEs on the roads.
Sad reaccs

Wow they are vanishing so fast.
