      Thank you.. I don't have a Svea 123, maybe one day I'll pick one up. These Optimus/Primus I do enjoy bringing them out every now and then. Thanks for dropping in and leaving a comment.

    Really nice little stoves Daniel. Boy that Primus one looks almost new
    I never realized those identical stoves had two brand names
    Boy the flame is hard to see for sure.
    Robert at Bluegrass Bushcraft has used one of those several times out on hikes.
    These will be fun for sure. Looking forward to seeing #3 when ya get it Daniel 👍🏻❤️‍🔥🙏🏻🤟🏻

    Those are so cool brother! I might be getting one, but I think the knob is missing. Correction: It has a wrench key valve control, no knob.

    coudnt build up any pressure in any of mine acuired self pressurizing stoves. Had an older nr 8, 8r and primus 71 sold them all for a small profit. These stoves are not very powerful either. Im sticking to pressurized radius 43 and optimus 111...alot alot more heat output as well with these stves. Also no cotton wick to replace like 8 and 8r. Some say i should have used car gasoline but ive tried with white gas. Nothing just yellow sooty flame despite preheating for long time.

      All four of my stoves sounded like little jet engines once operational. You couldn't get any of yours to burn like that. I did put out another video showing them burning at night. As far as BTUs I'm not sure what they put out, I'm happy with the ones that I have. And yes I also have canister stoves that put out more power. So far I only use white gas and my stoves burn clean. I don't think that I'll burn anything else in them, unless it's an emergence. I'm also looking at getting myself a Optimus 111 stove, man they are not cheap.

    @Thereal111t 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    That’s a white gas only stove. You might get it to run unleaded… but I wouldn’t recommend it. The alcohol and diesel triple fuel stove is a different one… the 111t.

      Got you. The person that I got the Optimus from informed me that he did burn Diesel and regular gas in the stove that I bought. He also stated that he had to take it apart every third time or so to muck it out. LOL He also did tell me that at the end he only used white gas, saved on cleaning out the jets. My self like I stated I'm new to this stove and I'll be burning white gas only. But, in saying that I've watched other channels that say the do burn other fuels in their 8Rs. I'm also a were of the 111t three fuel stoves. Thanks for the info Paul

      @@danielcharbonneau222 I BURN PARAFINE IN My Optimus 111, NO DIRT OR HINDRANCE IN IT WHEN ALIGHT AND USED. I AM THINKING OF USEING " Carbon Felt in the starter cup. Any ideas about that, ????? Please.

    • @danielcharbonneau222
      @danielcharbonneau222  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@MrBobthebird In fact, general paraffin for use as a heating fluid is often called kerosene, and the terms can be used interchangeably. So whether you opt for kerosene or paraffin for home use, you are essentially using the same product. As for placing carbon felt in the starter cup, yeah good idea.
