Honey Bees never sleep. Imagine how much sewing we could do if we didn’t need sleep, however they don’t have a long lifespan, so we need our sleep and to use our daytime hours wisely and sew, sew, sew. Kreative Kiwi designs of course!
When I saw the original Bee coaster and quilt design I said well that is one I won't be buying as I don't like bee's. I was involved in a bee attack and received over 70 bee stings, but my daughter started ordering bee themed things online and I asked her why. I showed her the coasters and quilt and she asked me to make it for her. I finished the coasters and just finished the Bee's for the quilt, will post pictures soon. Your bee's are so cute. Love the design. Fun bee fact: Bee's have been around for millions of years, but man figured out how to harvest honey 8,000 years ago. Thanks for all the wonderful videos.
Your honey bees are as sweet as you !! As always your teaching is wonderful. 23:17 Bees don't sleep and fly up to six miles and as fast as 15 miles per hour, on every foraging trip a bee will visit 50 to 100 flowers to collect nectar
Love this design and instructions are excellent! We need bees to pollinate so we can have food. My niece has a hobby farm with bee hives. They are fascinating to watch and extract the honey. 🥰🥰🥰🥰
Kay's Videos are awesome... She is the reason I even bought Kreative Kiwi Designs.. When I buy a design. I try to make sure Kay has done a video.. Love watching.. Her videos are very helpful for anyone... She should do more videos.. I follow her step by step and everything I have embroidered turned out awesome.. O yeah.. Bees are awesome..
Bees migrate and look like a huge nest when they rest usually in the V of a tree branch or on a porch post. They will not harm you if you just let them alone once they have rested they will continue on their journey
In cold climates, honey bees stop flying when the temperature drops below about 10 °C (50 °F) and crowd into the central area of the hive to form a "winter cluster".
Bees drink water and use it to dilute the honey. There is some speculation that they also receive nutrients from the water. I have a running fountain in my garden and there are always bees on it collecting water. Love your designs. So adorable.
I have a 15 year old dog which has just had an operation and unfortunately part of the wound has infection. The wound is being treated with Manuka honey because of it's medicinal properties. This honey is produced by bees pollinating the Manuka Bush and only produced in Australia and New Zealand. Very clever bees as this honey is magic stuff.
In the UK you can borrow a hive of bees under supervision to see if you like bee-keeping. if so, you can then buy that hive and bees. Your design is very clever.
Bee stings have been used for medicinal purposes. They used to bring bees to my sister to help with her Multiple Sclerosis. Their honey has been used as a natural antibiotic.
There are more than 20,000 species of bee in the world In the UK alone there are more than 250 species of bee, including the bumblebee, honeybee and mining bee.
Where is the entry form?or it is a comment here for the entry? Here is my entry comment: Almost 90% of wild plants and 75% of leading global crops depend on animal pollination. One out of every three mouthfuls of our food depends on pollinators such as bees.
Bonjour Kay. Je fais partie de votre groupe facebook, et cela me passionne, j'aimerais savoir quel programme vous utilisez car celui que j'ai (Tool shed de dime) ne ne rend pas les bonnes couleurs. Merci à vous et à tout le groupe.
Just saw a video where honey bees ‘invaded’ a home inside the walls, and the homeowner didn’t want to kill the bees, so an exterminator and a bee keeper worked together to move them to a safer place.
There's no such thing as a king bee, and neither is there a need for one. There's a saying, “Every Queen needs a King,” which isn't true for the queen bee. Queen bees need royal jelly, a few dozen drone bees when mating, and a host of worker bees to look after her throughout her life.
Can't imagine a world without bees, we must care for them and plant flowers that they love to visit. Love your placemat!
Bees work together beautifully, producing sweet honey for their family and ours.
Fun Fact - Bees love to visit and spend time in my flower garden! My flowers love the bee's company!!!
Bees are good for the environment and part of the cycle of life

Bees fly in a straight line, hence the phrase " Make a bee line".
The entire mood of a bee colony depends on the Queen. She controls it with a special pheromone, which unifies the bees in her care.

They look so lovely, still we are so afraid of them
Norse People were well known for their fermented drink known as Mead that is produced from a Bees Honey 🍯.
