Border gore aside (Thanks Paradox) This mod gives you more control over nation paths presets that are available as well over vanilla. So it's handy to have on no matter what. Especially since vanilla ahistorical isn't even ahistorical because the AI tends to be pre-programmed to go the same "alt" paths.
