This has some good info, but it is mainly a marketing tool for their own business. I don't think all lawyers starting out need to be spending thousands of dollars for marketing and case management. I have been in practice for over 14 years, and the best way to get clients, in my opinion, is to network among other attorneys who may or may not be in your same area, and do a great job for your existing clients.

Crazy how long ago this video was! I never saw this comment until now. Years later, I can say (with confidence) after helping take 11 start up law firms to $1M in their first year, that I strongly disagree with your approach. Your approach works for slow growth. But, I do NOT agree with building a relationship-dependent law practices that you can never sell or scale. If you want to stay small, don’t market. If you want to build a law BUSINESS, learn to market fast.

It's basically to put yourself out on LinkedIn and Facebook, and hire a company like his to help you market your business.
