Well, tax laws vary from state to state and many times you don't get a choice with regard to State & Local, only Federal. Federal you WILL get back if you have losses although you will owe if you don't have losses overall. So it can depend on your state and your tax planning skill. My two cents, but in the end it will always work out the same so I don't think it would be more at the casino. My personal opinion is why give them your money for use during the year, but that's me! Always good to consult your accountant and/or do some more research based on your state. Thanks so much and hope that helps!
