crospotter13 I am from Malta. Charging infrastructure is not that great either and most chargers are subscription based which does not make sense. There are only 3 free charging stations in the country, but Malta is very small so electric cars make sense. I will probably charge it in my garage :)

Was struggling for a long time between the Clio V and the Peugeot 208. At the end I went for the Clio V Intense with the TCe 100 last weekend because I could get the better engine and stick more extras for the same price as the Peugeot 208 Active with the 55 KW (75 PS) engine without any extras due a promotion. Honestly if I only would have gone for the looks I would have taken the Peugeot. I think this was the right decision, both drove well while I was testing them.
For me it’s Peugeot because of the looks, but Clio is excellent value for money especially if you got a good deal 💪😀 you can check out my POV night drive video of the new Clio also on the channel 😀

That sound on sport mode isn’t from the speakers at least on gt petrol models, that is the actual sound of the engine actually you can hear it from outside too it isn’t fake. Puretech engines are really outstanding
Hello - truth is that my GoPro was below my eye level. So in real life I can see 3/4 of the screen. But it depends on person to person and on seeating position, best to try it yourself to know. Thanks mate:) Well as far as I can see, when I look at the spec sheet of this model only options added to GT Line are two-tone color scheme, wirelles charger, Keyless GO, 10-inch navigation & panoramic roof. So I think that this is added to GT Line as standard

Les modèles suivants fabriqués après la 206 ont été confirmés par de nombreux clients comme ayant tous un design attrayant ou beau. J'aimerais vraiment voir PEUGEOT relancer la 206 avec exactement le même design externe et interne mais avec la colonne de direction à réglage en profondeur et en hauteur, la direction électrique, le volant sport de la marque 208 et le papillon Monlight en option + toit ouvrant d'origine en option! La voiture serait un spectacle! Avec toit ouvrant de la 206 d'origine bien sûr!

This Peugeot has great look in and out. The only thing is about the reliability of the engine with the 100 hp over the years. As the previous engine 1.6 petrol 150hp rally had many problems

All depends on your height and seating position. In this video GoPro is a bit below my eyes and in real life I could see more than on camera. But some people do have problems seeing the whole screen and they end up seeing around 2/3 of the screen. Best option - go to the nearest dealership adjust the seat and steering wheel for you and take a look at the cockpit

Yes, but I didn’t find that in options as I had a car for very short period, but other owners comfirmed changing color option, and for turning off all models have turn off options so that should also be here
Thank you for the night review! Does it really amplify the engine sound with the speakers on sport mode or is it some kind of immersion? I did a test drive some days ago because I'm interested in buying this but didn't try sport mode :(
Thanks for the comment:) Yep, a speaker sound as the sound from outside reanins the same. Peugeot also has that in some diesel models (you press Sport mode and all of a sudden diesel sounds good haha)

is the camera at the top of your head...if so then you can not see the digital instrument cluster because of the wheell, in these cars the wheell is supposed to be set low so you see the cluster above the top of the wheel not through the gap in the steering wheel like other cars

hello, yes only GT Line has LED RGB pack with ambient light in 8 colors. Maybe it's possible to get it on different trims as an option but I doubt you will need to check that with your dealership :)
It is something to get used to, but you will adapt pretty quickly! I would rather have the manual climate change controls although the digital controls in the 208 are really smooth, it has it’s own flow. Def recommend this car!

Lot of comments also saying that - I think you can’t go wrong with either of that 2 cars. Personally I would go for Peugeot because it’s a bit more sporty, and I love the digital cockpit and small steering wheel. But new Clio also drives on the new platform and is a big step up from previous one. So it’s all about personal preferences here 😀 but go for a test drive (when all this madness goes away) maybe you will decide easier and also check how well can you adjust the postiion on Peugeot for yourself and how much of the icockpit can you see. Which engines/spec are you thinking?
@@crospotter13 Thanks for your recommendation. I was looking at the 1.2L PureTech 100 EAT8 S&S for the Peugeot in either the GT Line trim or the Allure. For the Clio I was looking at the TCe 100 Auto CVT in the R.S Line trim.

Drove it 130km/h and didn’t notice any major noise so very good on that field. Compared to new Clio - both very much improved compared to their previous generations, both sit on new platform and drive much better now. I personally think this one has cooler design (especially the interior with 3D cockpit and small steeering wheel) but you won’t make a mistake with any of those 2. @@crospotter13 Thanks for your detailled answer. I will choose between the Clio Initiale Paris or the 208 Blue Lease Allure EAT. The plus side of the 208 is that it is automatic and since I´m in traffic quite a lot this will be very nice I think. And it has the better motor of the two. The Clio has leather warmed seats, Bose audio and subwoofer (but two fewer speakers) and some extra parking options + safety featurues.. How is the noise in comparison to the 208? I will go on a test drive this weekend with both cars! Can't wait but on paper the 208 edges the Clio at the moment. It depends on how they drive, how comfortable the seats are and how the noise is. I will find out this weekend.
@@Janzimp both nice cars and equipment :) You also have Clio with good EDC dual clutch automatic available. Speaking of the drive - both drive very well which you'll see on the test drives, but for fast cornering my choice would be Peugeot. So once again it's up to personal taste but both of these two are great little cars. Tell me your thoughts here after the test drive :)

Hello, so the “Driver Mode” (Eco, Sport with sound) is available on Allure trim. In my country it is not possible to combine 75 HP version with Allure trim (bet option for 75 is Active) so you should check out how’s the situation in your country.
Haha a ja taman pisem “in my country”. Uglavnom evo taman provjerio katalog, kao sto sam napiso, to je dio Allure paketa (GT Line sam po sebi ima sve iz Allure plus jos dodatne stvari). E sad vidim da u cjenicima ovu verziju sa 75 moguce dobiti samo u Active varijanti...eventualno provjerit dal je moguce dodatno narucit to, makar kod francuskih modela je to rjetkost, najcesce ide sve po paketima
pozdrav, kod nas cijene kreću od 99.895 kuna za benzinca sa 75 KS. Snažniji benzinac sa turbobenzincem od 100 KS starta na 116.995 kuna, dok dizelska izvedba starta na 129.940 kuna.
Što se tiče izgleda stvarno izgleda brutalno, a i vozi se jako lijepo, ovo je 100 KS bezninac i čak dosta solidno poteže. Evo nadam se da pomažu ove inf. o cijeni :)

Slažem se ovo za GT Line, puuno bolje izgleda sa njim i obavezno bi to uzeo da uzimam ovaj. Your steering is too high!!!! Your missing the concept ! Lower your seat tot the lowest point and then lower your steere that you bareley can see the cockpit above your steeringwale

Tbh I didn’t look at the menus for that as I actually find it cool, but maybe there is an option, I would ask the local dealeshio for confirmation if you’re getting one judt to be sure (I just test drove the car don’t have it now so can’t look for it)

Well as far as I can see, when I look at the spec sheet of this model only options added to GT Line are two-tone color scheme, wirelles charger, Keyless GO, 10-inch navigation & panoramic roof. So I think that this is added to GT Line as standard

Na koju točno mislite? Ovo na 2:36 je oznaka ručne na vrhu iznad brzinomjera, a točka iznad brzinomjera je krug u kojem piše ograničenje brzine jer auto kamerama prepoznaje ograničenja i ispisuje ih u tom krugu :)

This Peugeot has great look in and out. The only thing is about the reliability of the engine with the 100 hp over the years. As the previous engine 1.6 petrol 150hp rally had many problems
I think this one is improved, it’s well known engine and all models in PSA group use it

All depends on your height and seating position. In this video GoPro is a bit below my eyes and in real life I could see more than on camera. But some people do have problems seeing the whole screen and they end up seeing around 2/3 of the screen. Best option - go to the nearest dealership adjust the seat and steering wheel for you and take a look at the cockpit

Also, in reality you can see the i-cockpit better, my GoPro was below my eyes level, you can see around 2/3 of the screen in reality.

Yes, but I didn’t find that in options as I had a car for very short period, but other owners comfirmed changing color option, and for turning off all models have turn off options so that should also be here

Yep, a speaker sound as the sound from outside reanins the same. Peugeot also has that in some diesel models (you press Sport mode and all of a sudden diesel sounds good haha)

is the camera at the top of your head...if so then you can not see the digital instrument cluster because of the wheell, in these cars the wheell is supposed to be set low so you see the cluster above the top of the wheel not through the gap in the steering wheel like other cars

hello, yes only GT Line has LED RGB pack with ambient light in 8 colors. Maybe it's possible to get it on different trims as an option but I doubt you will need to check that with your dealership :)

It is something to get used to, but you will adapt pretty quickly! I would rather have the manual climate change controls although the digital controls in the 208 are really smooth, it has it’s own flow. Def recommend this car!

Hello, thanks for asking. I’m 1,87m, but in the video my GoPro is below my eyes level (it’s around my mouth) and in reality you can see 3/4 of the i-cockpit 😀

@@crospotter13 Thanks, I have been seeing a lot of reviews saying the wheel position is not for everyone so was curious. I'm torn between this car and the new clio.
Lot of comments also saying that - I think you can’t go wrong with either of that 2 cars. Personally I would go for Peugeot because it’s a bit more sporty, and I love the digital cockpit and small steering wheel. But new Clio also drives on the new platform and is a big step up from previous one. So it’s all about personal preferences here 😀 but go for a test drive (when all this madness goes away) maybe you will decide easier and also check how well can you adjust the postiion on Peugeot for yourself and how much of the icockpit can you see.

@@crospotter13 Thanks for your recommendation. I was looking at the 1.2L PureTech 100 EAT8 S&S for the Peugeot in either the GT Line trim or the Allure. For the Clio I was looking at the TCe 100 Auto CVT in the R.S Line trim.

How's the noise when you are driving on the highway? And how is it compared to the new Clio?
Drove it 130km/h and didn’t notice any major noise so very good on that field. Compared to new Clio - both very much improved compared to their previous generations, both sit on new platform and drive much better now. I personally think this one has cooler design (especially the interior with 3D cockpit and small steeering wheel) but you won’t make a mistake with any of those 2. @@crospotter13 Thanks for your detailled answer. I will choose between the Clio Initiale Paris or the 208 Blue Lease Allure EAT. The plus side of the 208 is that it is automatic and since I´m in traffic quite a lot this will be very nice I think. And it has the better motor of the two.
The Clio has leather warmed seats, Bose audio and subwoofer (but two fewer speakers) and some extra parking options + safety featurues.. How is the noise in comparison to the 208?
I will go on a test drive this weekend with both cars! Can't wait but on paper the 208 edges the Clio at the moment. It depends on how they drive, how comfortable the seats are and how the noise is. I will find out this weekend.
@@Janzimp both nice cars and equipment :) You also have Clio with good EDC dual clutch automatic available. Speaking of the drive - both drive very well which you'll see on the test drives, but for fast cornering my choice would be Peugeot. So once again it's up to personal taste but both of these two are great little cars. Tell me your thoughts here after the test drive :)

Hello, so the “Driver Mode” (Eco, Sport with sound) is available on Allure trim. In my country it is not possible to combine 75 HP version with Allure trim (bet option for 75 is Active) so you should check out how’s the situation in your country.

E sad vidim da u cjenicima ovu verziju sa 75 moguce dobiti samo u Active varijanti...eventualno provjerit dal je moguce dodatno narucit to, makar kod francuskih modela je to rjetkost, najcesce ide sve po paketima

Što se tiče izgleda stvarno izgleda brutalno, a i vozi se jako lijepo, ovo je 100 KS bezninac i čak dosta solidno poteže. Evo nadam se da pomažu ove inf. o cijeni :)

Slažem se ovo za GT Line, puuno bolje izgleda sa njim i obavezno bi to uzeo da uzimam ovaj.

@@jankostojanovic1653 Clio veliki pomak u odnosu na prethodnika po pitanju vožnje i onog osjećaja čvrstoće. Ali Peugeot mi je ipak nešto bolji za vozit (možda je do osobnog dojma). Corsu nisam vozio ali je kao što si napisao platforma i sve isto, a budući da mi je 208 puno ljepši od Corse onda bi prije 208. Ali svakako se zahuktalo u ovoj klasi

Tbh I didn’t look at the menus for that as I actually find it cool, but maybe there is an option, I would ask the local dealeshio for confirmation if you’re getting one judt to be sure (I just test drove the car don’t have it now so can’t look for it)
