It's better to be overcautious when it comes to water. You don't get much time to fix a water problem if you let it happen.
After just two days without water, you become so weak that you are basically useless.

Aquaducts and better water catchment systems would go a long way toward solving the problem. For example in California, this past winter has piled bountiful amounts of water ice on the land that - when it melts - will run right off into the ocean because California doesn't have effective irrigation channels or water storage in the mountains. Heck, the Babylonians were way ahead of us in this regard., 800 years BC.

The water on our Earth today is the same water that's been here for nearly 5 billion years. So far, we haven't managed to create any new water, and just a tiny fraction of our water has managed to escape out into space. The only thing that changes is the form that water takes as it travels through the water cycle.

    • @kemicalhazard8770
      @kemicalhazard8770 ปีที่แล้ว

Yes, but it is being used in suhc a way that disrupts the cycle. Since we use such an extreme amount for agriculture, luxury goods, high income sports like golf and to produce non essentials like soft drinks, we are consuming it faster than it replenishes in groundwater sources and other fresh water sources.

We need to look at better farming techniques, like small, non-profit, permaculture farming villages surrounding cities. This method would help restore and protect land, lower cost of food and food insecurity, and create a space for the homeless to live, work and learn.
The only reason we have commercial agriculture is because of greed, but ironically, most commercial farmers become deep in debt or fail.

    European values.
"Do not kill, do not steal, love your neighbor!" shouted the combat chaplains, and the armies of the crusaders fell upon the Middle East, upon Eastern Europe. “Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth!!! Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called sons of God!!!” howled the priests, marching across the lands of South America following the detachments of the conquistadors. And the warriors of Cortés carried true, genuine, primordial European values, which at that time were still not so skillfully able to cover up with verbal lace. Here is a quote from a letter from Columbus to the royal couple of Spain: “Gold is perfection. Gold creates treasures, and whoever owns it can do whatever he wants, and is even able to bring human souls into paradise.
1503, but formulated - forever. All new words come and go, and these will sound in the souls of Europeans for as long as this civilization exists. Let's remember this formula - it doesn't sound loud today, but if you erase the superficial words in millions of words of European politicians, politicians, journalists, philosophers, you will easily see it. It is imprinted in the souls of Europeans forever, because it reflects the highest goal of this civilization - the only thing worth striving for, the only thing worth devoting one's life to.
It seems that we already know everything about "European values".

Overconsumption. There are too many humans on the planet. The population has tripled in 60 years. Although people won’t talk about that. Instead they’ll talk about it in tangential terms like water overconsumption. The population of India and Africa is still climbing massively. Let’s not talk about birth control. The global corporations won’t like it. They need new consumers to feed their greed. The childhood death rate has fallen with various programs. Which is obviously a global good but without pairing that with another type of population control i.e. freely available contraception, the planet has been doomed.

Access to water is a matter of market adjustments. Pluvicopia quickly repairs water AVAILABILITY by tapping the water cycle, the natural process that provides all freshwater. It can be set because nature is a haphazard process, where instability can only release the Energy in Latent Heat when conditions are just right. In some places, they get too much water because the conditions come about once the load is too much for the region. In others, the right conditions never happen or are erratic. Pluvicopia releases the Energy from the boundary layer with minimal instability. The book Pluvicopia: solving the Energy, water, and climate crises clearly explains how to solve not only the water crisis but the food, migration, sea level, and the most pressing problems because all these problems are water related. This planet is covered in water and close to the sun; there is no reason we should have water or energy problems with the knowledge, materials, and engineering we have developed.

Interesting details from the life of ex-member of the British Parliament Imran Ahmad Khan (pictured) - the younger brother of ICC judge Karim Ahmad Khan, who issued an "arrest warrant" for Putin.
The molestation of a 15-year-old boy, for which Imran went to prison, happened back in 2008. The police knew about it, but then the scandal was hushed up. The victim remembered the incident only 11 years later - immediately after the election of the pedophile in parliament From 2019 to 2022, the trial lasted, but the case was done. In 2021, when, at the insistence of London, Karim Ahmad Khan became an ICC judge (or rather, he was secretly elected, for the first time in the history of this body), he was already firmly on the hook in the form of a threat of prison for a pervert brother. Cute.
The 52-year-old Judge Karim himself, like his brother, also seems to be unmarried. They grew up together, studied at the same private school.
Imran (exactly) and Karim (probably) are adherents of Ahmadiyya, a heretical sect founded in British India in the XIX century.
Its creator Mirza Ghulam Ahmad considered himself a promised Mahdi who came "in the spirit and power of Jesus Christ", etc. And, coincidentally, was faithful to the British authorities to the grave.
Needless to say, the world headquarters of Ahmadiyya has been moved to London for almost 40 years? Well, at least, since these heretics are not allowed into Mecca.
(After all, the English are witty people. Although immodest: when blasphemers award a prize to a lord, this is already a bad thing, even if it is Eric Lubbock, 4th Baron Avebury, the "godfather of terrorism," according to Larouche.)
Among Ahmadis - strict obedience, initiation with clasped hands and an oath of allegiance. It's like an English novel, not a cult.
