What an amazing place, is it a private home or hotel?

Hi Dale. In the 18th Century it was private. It's now a museum and visitor attraction. Open to the public in the afternoons. I made sure to arrive before it was open.

This Manor (not a chateau) is located in Normandy. It's classified as MH (Monument Historique in France) and cannot be sold.

Hi There. Thanks. No, that Corbusier modernist structure is 700Kms to the East of our home in France - virtually the opposite side of the country. Our visit to Vendeuvre was during a weekend excursion to Normandy.
