I hope they have dramatic weather effects in madden 25

with the hit stick i feel like it should be linked to the players awr and tackle ratting and if not their should be a big hitter ability so that the higher those 2 ratting's are gives that player a better chance of causing a fumble along with a big hitter ability and of course it should be a high risk high reward thing . now in general i like what i'm hearing for game play and FM but like you said we shall wait and see
The game is fast, Sim feels like arcade, locomotion is a step back in my opinion, lots of fumbles, still way too many knockouts, and stretch plays still broken.
24 was in much better shape at this point last year. The physics based tackling is apparent, but it still just doesn’t feel right. I personally think it’s because of the hit stick, but I cant quite put my finger on it. It’s early and things change. We’ll see.
No wear and tear system is a little bummer tbh fatigue was broke in Madden 24

to this day madden still hasn't learned how to implement injuries correctly, especially when it comes to animations. on madden a player can literally get tackled at his ankles, then madden will report the guy having a rib Injury🤣 with the frostbite engine they use it's all based off premeditated animations and not physics 🗑so with that been said I know for certain that wear and tear system is going to be broken mark my words😩😩
I played the beta and the gameplay is ultra smooth and movement is fantastic.the physics is definitely there. Weight , momentum and ratings definitely matter. The hit stick is not arcady at all . Matter fact the hit stick is the worst way to try to tackle. The ball carrier moves are butter. Very sim style and not arcady. The casual fan may not like this . Passing is actually better and free form is still there. Oh my god the blocking is so much better and the animations in the trenches feel a lot more organic. New kicking meter is hard as hell. Doesn’t seem like wear and tear made it to Madden but I think that is a NFL thing
@jaydee7944 same frostbite engine as every year bro😩 all they do every year is add animation and make gameplay slower or faster 😩 the foundation will always be the same with that engine they use 😩 no disrespect to you or anything but influencers say the samething about the physics/improvements every year and maddens been the same for 4 year now😩

Although they're on the same engine it's two different teams that work on the game so it'll be different opinions and views how football is simulated. TBH Madden needs competition
What would’ve really made more sense was you to be able to import draft classes from college football 25 just to see your players go on and get drafted that night in the NFL and then have stories from Knight to be synced up with college football 25 we can use it as a pitcha sales pitch in order to get a recruit Xavier drafted the first round quarterback, so make it more incentive to develop players
also i don't get how come we can export/import a RTG to madenn but can't do it for the draft classes after year 4 because then all the players would be generic

Hey Sim! I’m not a madden player anymore but my question is how would EA incorporate a situation like the Steelers with a new OC and new playbook? Being that this game will be out before the season starts how close will the playbook look to what our actual plays will look like this year?
The new playbook is in the beta.
It won't matter, bunch and trips will dominate the game some type of rpo will dominate the game and dollar defense with 5 in the box will stop the run, dollar DB fire will be meta. And some type of loop blitz will be meta it's the same game every year. Until they allow players with football logic common sense to dominate the game it'll be the same
The game will work properly after 3 to 4 patches, so im guessing by December. We talking about ea here. Im afraid all the additions to college football 25 will not work properly on release. I guarantee the wear and tear system will not work properly on realease which will result in ppl having to turn it off. Im really skeptical about pre ordering madden until everything is fixed.
Same here, by the holidays the game is fully ready by Christmas.
You were supposed to help hold Clint and EA accountable on behalf of the community family. It's been almost a decade since your "give them some time" statement, only for us not to get anything for a decade, spanning 3 generations of consoles. The only reason IMO this year seems to be somewhat different is due to CF25 returning. Madden has been an abortion of a franchise im terms of innovation, relative to dollars acquired through their casino called MUT
There are better things in life than Madden. Anybody still taking it that serious should…………
@simfballcritic If that's the case, I would have respected that level of energy in your videos instead of the actual approach you took...as given your current comment to me, you essentially sound like you were just gatekeeping now.
When it comes to hit stick, I think it should only be really effective in arcade mode. In simulation mode hit stick should be the lowest success rate of tackle or fumble success as most tackle breaks in real life are due to a defender trying to tackle with poor form or trying to lay a huge hit. Ratings and physics should determine fumble and tackle rates for simulation. I could be wrong, but I think people that think "Stick skills" should affect those things are more into arcade mode type gameplay. If I throw into coverage and get picked then that's on me, but when it comes to other parts of the game such as fumbles, that should not have anything to do with the controller in my opinion for simulation mode. Also I feel that there are way too many hit stick attempts in Madden even by the CPU compared to what happens in real life ( I could be wrong). Peace.

fiest i wanna say shoutout to you bro ive always appreciated your work since the days when madden was good🤣👌🏿👌🏿but this is the same thing every year😩 beautiful graphics/screenshots/trailers😩😩 every year they say they add new physics mechanics and we still see the same issues with movements spacing and glitchy animations😩 hate to break the news to you guys but same frostbite engine means the same game(its the foundation!!)😩 all they do is add animations, and so called features, but if easports base engine doesnt change itll be the same game 4th year in row yal😩🗑🗑 im just tired of the easports monopoly we need a real football game from a company who really understands real football/physics. but with easports everythings just a marketing money grab😩

That’s the part I will never understand. Giving feedback, critiques, or not liking everything doesn’t mean you can’t play a game. I have never told people to or not to buy something. At the end of the day it’s just videos games, not that serious.
