    I like the detail on the pieces Of the process. keep debating tackling a mini tub job someday and this is great insight on how to get it done and the challenges. Really appreciate you taking the time to share it.

    Thanks for making this video. I'm putting in the mini tubs right now and I had the same exact challenges. You are the only one to make a mini tub video that's this in depth that no one has else has covered. Much appreciated.

      @@ElrodsGarage by the way, what paint is on your car? Is it a Chevy paint code? Mine is very similar, but it is a Ford (Aaahh!) paint code called Teal 6630).

      @@stevecanyon23 I'm not sure. This car was repainted about 30 years ago according to the previous owner.

      How is it going man? I'm wondering what engine / trans / rear end combination you will be going for.

      @@stevecanyon23 it's going really well. I have a small block, Super T-10 4 speed, and 10 bolt rearend to go in it. I'd like to swap in a boosted LS, TKX 5 speed and a 9" rearend. Time will tell how all that comes together.

    I like how you fabricated/modded the blockoffs on the rear frame rails.

    Nice!! I had to split the back corners of those tubs as well, that template must be a little whacked.

    • @ElrodsGarage
      @ElrodsGarage  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think the tubs aren't stamped as good as they could be. I'm sure everyone's outer wheelhouses are a little different. That's where I had the biggest issue.

    nice work. I have a favor to ask. Could you give me a dimension from the rear trunk /weatherstrip gutter to your trunk floor in a couple of places? Perhaps where the rear curve piece meets the deck filler piece. I want to make sure I'm close to factory.

      Hey Charlie, thanks! Mine may not be exactly factory. Email me and we can swap pictures of the area. eisforever (at) hotmail.com Cheers man!
