A great Sunny walk video to Watch while i am cowering in a bus shelter from the rain, mid-bike -ride! I did a geology field trip around Ramsgate 13 years ago 👍
Nice Jazz Club selection for this video . Ramsgate looks nice, we were surprised that we did not visit there much when we lived in Canterbury. Stay Cool.
Would you believe I was catching up on episodes today, wishing there was a new one to enjoy? I hope you use your psychic powers responsibly, Marek. Thanks for another great walk!
Hey Marek. 👍😃 Ramsgate looks lovely. Nice quaint place & a lovely beach. Sadly I've never managed to venture down that far South East of the UK. I'm told Kent is "the garden of England". Certainly looks lovely. 😃👍 Keep up the great videos mate. 👍
Sadly my friend, the 'Demon Drink' can turn everyday normal people into loud obnoxious irritating dick-heads. They then see fit to spoil everyone else's evening. Shame really. It happens everywhere I'm afraid. ☹️
There was a man in a suit dancing by himself really full on with his headphones on with drinks in both hands. Everyone around in the pub acted like it was normal. It also looked like the sort of place where there was a 25% chance you might be killed.
@@cdwc Hahaha! He was having a silent disco to himself while double pinting! The fact others didn't even blink suggests foul play in that town! Smart to be out within 2 hours to be on the safe side 😂
What a lovely place. I go to Canterbury a lot and have meant to go there on several occasions but have never managed it. Hopefully I will on the next visit. Great little video Marek! Stay cool 😎
You were absolutely spitting facts today🔥! Nice job. Ramsgate photographs nicely I must say. Glad I moved out here now and not on the eve of WW2. That would have been bad timing.
Wonderful walk, seems a bit nicer than Blackpool, we took a trip there on our return to the UK, lots of fun was had and we did get to visit a Weatherspoons :)
Ramsgate and Broadstairs, a little further along the coast, have some great architecture and enigmatic buildings. There's a lot of history to be discovered if you look about and go off the beaten track. My own local council, Bexley, actually have an app featuring several local walks, as well as online resources and route maps. I wish more local authorities would do the same.
I'm not sure what I thought Ramsgate looked like, but I didn't realise it was quite this aesthetically pleasing. The second surprise of today. The first one involved cat poo. Big laugh from the drawing version of Carlos being pixellated from the waist down. Thanks, Cool Dude.
@@thekentishpilgrim I thought it was an imagined drawing, I didn't think it was a reconstruction. Carlos! 😮 If only there was a Carlos emoji for just this moment. It'll have to be this instead.
Good to know that Vincent chose to live there for a year. The Spoons is in the perfect position for a pint or two.👍🏻😊🍺 ❤️ your impressionist vision of Ramsgate, fabulous 👌🏻 Stay Cool Dudes.😎
I lived and worked in Margate's casino from the start of the 90's. Didn't get out to Ramsgate much and now see it s a missed opportunity. Those terraced houses look beautiful and I hope they've not all been converted to flats. Now go and wash the paint off your hands, grubby Marek
I think you may be onto a painting style there. It is actually very good. Now if I had any sort of mild connection to Ramsgate I’d be half tempted to sign up for UK eBay and bid… actually no turns out I can’t be bothered and I can’t as a foreigner anyway I suspect. But I am very close to being bothered and that’s what counts isn’t it. The Marek Van Gob style. I like it.
Dear Marick, don't change a thing, just you and your honest experience makes your videos intoxicating. As soon as you try to please the crowd you will have lost the genuine pleasure Of your videos. Personally I look forward to your next video, it gives me relief from the tortuous world, stay true!
Nice walk. I have never been to Ramsgate, I intend to visit it one day, along with other seaside places I haven't visited. Some of those houses have really nice styles, especially those ones with the bay windows. I like the harbour area with the yachts, very picturesque. I have always loved Van Gogh's paintings, along with Monet and Renoir. Van Gogh had such a unique style. Pleased you got to the station in time for your train. Stay cool.
Brilliant - well done on getting back to the station on time. It's a cruel joke they call it Ramsgate station when the b*stards built it so far out of town. So sad they closed the brilliant micropub on route the Ravensgate Arms. Helped make the trip uphill less painful.
Oooh, Ramsgate. Haven't been there for a while. Nice emporium there with lots of vintage stuff round the back streets somewhere. Must go again soon but they're digging up the M2 at the mo so can't venture out that way unless you want to be diverted on a wild goose chase round Kent. Loved the new Werewolf keyring. Remarkable likeness to someone I know. Is it American Werewolf Marek? Better not tell Carlos! x J x
I was under the impression that Ramsgate is an absolute sh*thole but it doesn't look too bad in all honesty. Maybe because it was so quiet it made it look quite appealing
It’s the most beautiful place in the world. I’m biased because I live here, but it’s hard to walk around without ending up with a big smile on your face.
Ramsgate looks very nice 😊😊😊
It was the perfect day for Ramsgate. I love the buildings there.
I was so entertained by this video that the slipper on my left foot, which I was rocking to and fro, fell off!
I am really only looking for a reaction from slippers on the right foot.

It was much nicer than I thought it would be. I think some seaside towns get a bad press.

Nice unexpected one.

I think I picked the right day for Ramsgate. The evening before it was a bit raucous by the docks.
Sadly my friend, the 'Demon Drink' can turn everyday normal people into loud obnoxious irritating dick-heads. They then see fit to spoil everyone else's evening. Shame really. It happens everywhere I'm afraid. ☹️
very much looking forward to the ghost walks!
Nice one cool dude. Will be around Halloween.
That was a particularly good one. Love the facts. Stay cool 👍😊
It was a fact behemoth.
Lovely vid as always. The very last mini Marek pic at the end really made me chuckle.
Ooooh I'd love to have a mooch in the Ramsgate tunnels one day.
I took that one!!!! Ha. That is the only one I have included since the very start.
Nice to see sunglasses Marek getting the majority of an episode. He can be quite nice when he wants to be. 😀
Loved this one! Also thoroughly enjoyed the pub and chippie scene! Actually super interesting place it seems too.

The German Bombers would have heard you sniffing a mile off and got you.
The Ramsgate tunnels will give you all you need to know about how Ramsgate was prepared for war. Well worth a visit.
Looks like a great spot! I miss the lunch discussion and challenges. 🥪
I had finished this walk by 11 cool dude, so too early for lunch. I will try and include them in future videos.

Wetherspoons is now probably up there with the quintessential English experiences.

The tunnels sound very cool, shame you didn’t have time! I loved the painting, and that photo of the lift.
Yes I would have loved to visit the tunnels. Ramsgate would be a great place for urban sketching
I also liked the little yellow house with the blue door. 😊
It was perfectly done. There were a few buildings like that there.
Vincent Van Gough was the Mark Brandon (Chopper) Read of his time.
I would like to buy a print of "Last night at the fish & chip shop". It's brilliant!
I'll have to turn it into a postcard.
