I was hoping you'd mention how a number of people have complained that, even though they'd already paid for the game, they're no longer able to download it. So, if you bought a new console or needed to make space on your hard drive, the game was lost forever. It was a hot topic for a very short time that people who had purchased the game had effectively been robbed by the company that sold it to them, since Ubisoft effectively took it back. I'm stunned by this video's quality, though there are only half a dozen videos in this style, its incredibly rare to encounter something that's is at the same time really informing, incredibly well designed and edited, using solid arguments and reseach, and really well presented and concise... Hear me out, this channel is something unique...
It's on the nintendo switch. It was on sale costing 4 euros so I bought it, remembering when I played this game with my cousins on ps3. It's amazing, sad that it's so short
I love this game with a passion, the art-style and the music... (One of the best videogame soundtracks i ever heard of) And also that by the fact that it introduced me to Scott Pilgrim in general. (then by the movie and last with the graphic novels.) I hope Bryan gets the goal to make the game have a re-release for PC! By the way, i'm in lesbians with this video. :P (Your drawings of the characters are amazing! It asimilates to O'Malley's style!)
Honestly if you did a video on the comic I'd watch it. Used to read it when I was 15ish and it impacted my life a bit haha So I have a sort of fondness for that comic despite it's flaws Also a remaster/rermake would be awesome considering the amount of content missing and the lack of the game's current existence.
Putting a unique soundtrack in a place you wouldn't think to look is what i live for. Especially in the case of FLCL and the Pillows. Truly a fantastically fitting album for such a grand show!
Let's hope the complete edition tweaked the game to it's fullest and turned it into a COMPLETE game and not a rushed one. Crossing my fingers and my toes
Finally, the game i've been with throughout my entire childhood is finally being noticed, hopefully it gets re-released P.S. I've watched the movie and read the comics which honestly are different ._.
This was an amazing blast to the past, man. Scott Pilgrim is a franchise that since 2010 disappear of the world after the final volume of the comic was released. From the game visuals to Anamanaguchi (who I listen since 2012) this video is a proof that Scott it's alive in people's mind yet. Keep the good work, man. Awesome video.

This is honestly really well made. On an unrelated note, I think the movie actually did a pretty good job. Edgar Wright's directing style mixed really really well with the storyline and the aesthetic. I do think it only appeals to a certain demographic tho, which is why it sold so poorly.
Nah, the trailer and the commercials were horrible, and did little to show just how crazy and fun the movie was. The advertising/marketing did a horrible disservice to the film.
I'm dreamin for that even since I read the comic, I would love that 1 season covers 2 VNs 12 episode seasons are good, also an animated promotional trailer for the movie exists, it covers the meeting between Lisa Miller and Scott on HS
Sweet baby Jesus, this video is stunning in every way. Editing is the obvious standout but man, the info is nothing but gold I was also immediately concerned about crunch the moment I heard of the 5-month dev cycle, that's not good for _any media_ that wasn't intended as part of something like a game jam. And I would comment about stuff, but eh what the hell Just glad it's rightfully back. Pour one out for all the hard work both studios put in and have some fun, like Scott would!
Got this from Limited Run for switch and it'd been the first time I'd touched this game since its short release on the 360 years ago. Just as fun as I remembered it to be.

8:03 honestly i have to agree with you there. Both the twins/the5th and 6th xs were really hard to beat. Same goes for Gideons boss battle. Both me and my brother had such a hard time trying to beat the elevator section, beat buff gideon then go through the evil subspace and finally defeat basically god gideon without losing the sword which you do need to beat him. Or else your pretty much screwed. The last part of the stage is pretty easy as long as you get the electric gun thing from those robot girls. Then all you have to get gideon into a corner at the last part
Me and my brother also had to beat the first level over and over just to get 500$ to unlock the no account video store (it was his idea to beat the first level over and over btw)

With the anime coming out soon I wonder if they’ll make a finished version of the game
I love this video and can't wait to check out the rest of your channel. The art in O'Mally's style made me smile so much and it was interesting hearing the story about a game I played once at my Uncle's house before reading or watching Scott Pilgrim.
Scott Pilgrim did ruin a whole generation. Smh my head
i have a personality because i have colored hair, take birth control, and i have depression
@Brandon Gray people who get upset about it are the kind of people were making fun of in the first place.
@@cIoudbank I thought you were making fun of girls with colored hair.
The movie did, sure
@Mr . Game & Watch and felt so empowered...
I'm really regretting deleting the Marvel: Ultimate Alliance games off my PS4. I could have swore that there were supposed to be some sort of customer protection laws in place that would allow people to re-download games that companies no longer actively sell
I remember playing the demo of this game in my cousin's ps3 and i fell in love with it, but everytime i searched about it, on where could i buy it, i never saw it anywhere... I loved your review tho...i really wanted to get it
I just finished watching the movie, now I feel like I’m gonna become a fan of this little series :)
8:39pm
If anyone is wondering the game is coming back on January 14th
Solid ad placement at 3:40. Well done
So I don’t know if it’s still possible but a few years back I was telling my buddy about this game and we were wishing we could play it. Somehow we found a virtual code for the game on Best Buy’s website and it actually works!! I recommend looking for it if you wanna play the game.
Sam Jones tbh looking for a code at Best Buy is like finding gold mine
OaTz I meant to say the website haha just changed it
Sam Jones no problem
@@USPSLotLizard I actually still have this game would like to play online with folks
@@TCBlueFire wish i could get it on my own, good thing my brother bought the game on xbox
The quality of this video was is amazing! I looked and subscribed to your channel to find out you’re the one who made the supermega animated video! Huge respect to you man!
wow, looks good! can't wait to play that game... oh wait.
edit: this hasn't aged well...
specticulrtainment emulate *cough* *cough*

Don't know if you have a ps3 you can jailbreak or not lol, but if you have a pc it also works on RPCS3, if you have issues with it there's an alt link that may solve any issues you have. :)
Good news
@@cringedealer84 yeah dude, that's fucking awsome! scott pilgrim is not only my favourite movie of all time but also my favourite graphic novel series of all time (mostly because i literally haven't read any other graphic novel) I even bought that fucking card game that came out a few years ago and i literally have no idea how to play it.
sooo exited about it being rereleased since i've been wanting to play it for so long!
This series changed my life for the better. Helped me find my identity...i really hope a remaster pops up soon
how weird is it that this game is now on steam
It got rereleased!!
FUCK YES IT'S BACK, THE COMPLETE EDITION IS COMING OUT THIS YEAR, IT'S SO CLOSE, IT'S ALL I EVER WANTED, I'M IN A TOTAL SCOTT PILGRIM CRAZE AFTER READING THE COMIC HOOOO BOY I can't wait.
This is my favorite beat 'em up of all time despite some of its shortcomings.
For a 5-month effort and only 50% of its vision accomplished, I'd say it deserves another chance with even more development time!
P.S.: Nice job with the cute imagery! I never read the comics but this video convinced me to give them a try!
There was such a missed opportunity to call this game "Scott Pilgrim vs. The Game"
When demand is high for Scott Pilgrim again, a sequel by the same team, with time, would be nuts.
I'm stunned by this video's quality, though there are only half a dozen videos in this style, its incredibly rare to encounter something that's is at the same time really informing, incredibly well designed and edited, using solid arguments and reseach, and really well presented and concise... Hear me out, this channel is something unique...
10:08
The music even sounds like they're singin "Just like in the movies!"
Will be checking it out once it re-releases later this year, cause i really missed out on this 😁
I’m going back through the comments and liking comments so they can be reminded of a time when there was no hope for this game
Its awesome to hear someone give the music some credit, I listen to it once every month and get chills all the time.
Anamanaguchi's soundtrack is probably my favorite part of this gem of a game.
What’s funny is that by the time this video was released the game was re-released on Xbox and PlayStation
Guess who's back
*back again*
It's on the nintendo switch. It was on sale costing 4 euros so I bought it, remembering when I played this game with my cousins on ps3. It's amazing, sad that it's so short
I love this game with a passion, the art-style and the music... (One of the best videogame soundtracks i ever heard of)
And also that by the fact that it introduced me to Scott Pilgrim in general. (then by the movie and last with the graphic novels.)
I hope Bryan gets the goal to make the game have a re-release for PC!
By the way, i'm in lesbians with this video. :P (Your drawings of the characters are amazing! It asimilates to O'Malley's style!)
A fantastic and well informative look at one of the best beat 'em ups out there! Love the editing style of this video as well!
Honestly if you did a video on the comic I'd watch it. Used to read it when I was 15ish and it impacted my life a bit haha
So I have a sort of fondness for that comic despite it's flaws
Also a remaster/rermake would be awesome considering the amount of content missing and the lack of the game's current existence.
Putting a unique soundtrack in a place you wouldn't think to look is what i live for. Especially in the case of FLCL and the Pillows. Truly a fantastically fitting album for such a grand show!
The games about to get announced to come back lol
Let's hope the complete edition tweaked the game to it's fullest and turned it into a COMPLETE game and not a rushed one. Crossing my fingers and my toes
Finally, the game i've been with throughout my entire childhood is finally being noticed, hopefully it gets re-released
Awesome video.
i forgot how good the music of that gamewas... i may dust off my ps3 and play it
Fury here
I came here to announce that, as of 4 of March 2023
The game is now on Steam
It was released not too long ago on January so we can be glad that this little jewell got preserved after all this years
This is honestly really well made.
The books deserve an animated adaption. Like 6, 1 hour episodes on Netflix/Amazon, kind of thing
I'm dreamin for that even since I read the comic, I would love that 1 season covers 2 VNs 12 episode seasons are good, also an animated promotional trailer for the movie exists, it covers the meeting between Lisa Miller and Scott on HS
SCOTTY BOY RETURNS!
Sweet baby Jesus, this video is stunning in every way. Editing is the obvious standout but man, the info is nothing but gold
I was also immediately concerned about crunch the moment I heard of the 5-month dev cycle, that's not good for _any media_
that wasn't intended as part of something like a game jam. And I would comment about stuff, but eh what the hell
Just glad it's rightfully back. Pour one out for all the hard work both studios put in and have some fun, like Scott would!
SCOTT IS MAKING AN EPIC COMEBACK.
Got this from Limited Run for switch and it'd been the first time I'd touched this game since its short release on the 360 years ago. Just as fun as I remembered it to be.
scott pilgrim tends to be an amazing IP that gets ruined by corporate suits who handle it and fans.
1st video I have seen of your work. Honestly this is a damn master class of editing, well fucking done. I cannot fathom how long this took make. Respect my guy, that's all I have.
***wonder how much money they will make now***
Man, your videos are totally worth the wait
I love it
IT MIGHT COME BACK OH SHIT. Maybe this video might kickstart it's rerelease?
Please continue to making content like you currently do, I really like it!
That's weird. I completed the game and never came across Knive's dad.
it appears randomly on stage selection screen like the hammer bros or the bonus stages on Mario bros 3
Every frame of this video is fantastic. I commend the work you put into this!
this video was very warmful and beautiful, thank you so much for making it
1:59 you just puched me in the face with nostalgia from 2011 omg i miss this game so much
Dude, I never knew you made content like this! This is absolutely awesome stuff
What software did you use to edit your videos ?
8:03 honestly i have to agree with you there. Both the twins/the5th and 6th xs were really hard to beat. Same goes for Gideons boss battle. Both me and my brother had such a hard time trying to beat the elevator section, beat buff gideon then go through the evil subspace and finally defeat basically god gideon without losing the sword which you do need to beat him. Or else your pretty much screwed. The last part of the stage is pretty easy as long as you get the electric gun thing from those robot girls. Then all you have to get gideon into a corner at the last part
Me and my brother also had to beat the first level over and over just to get 500$ to unlock the no account video store (it was his idea to beat the first level over and over btw)
this is the 2nd video ive watched of yours and your editing is so slick. I love it!
