Only time this is acceptable is if the book is already falling apart 😢 I have several books my teachers gave me because they were too torn for use in class anymore and I use them for crafts like this

I’m a book worm, so I’m going to take my favorite part of a book and copy the words down on a new piece of paper and using that as my phone case so I can reread that part of the book whenever 😊

DONT RIP OUT PAGES OF BOOKS! You can buy premade paper that looks like this, or quickly soak paper in tea or coffee, pat it dry with a washcloth, and let it dry for 24-48 (depending on ur climate)

It’s like this paper that has a vintage look and is torn from all sides so it’s really good for journaling and maybe if u try this idea u don’t have to tear a page and just use some vintage paper 😊

I actually put unused stickers into the phone case!! Its super effective, and you can always take them out later! Highly recommend both of these options, especially if you like a cluttered mosaic/collage look for your case. 10/10!!!

Book fans, I know seeing her rip out a book page rips ur heart but you really have to accept the fact that she probably didn’t have any use for the book so she thought doing this would’ve been a good idea.
If you dont want to tear books but want the book efect, you can also do this! Grab regular paper, if you want text on it print it on the paper, and dip it in coffee. Let it dry and crumble it up. Unfold it and voila! There is your vintage paper! I love the texture of it too much😂
I think some books have an empty page in the beginning or end so maybe you can rip it from there and you won’t necessarily be ruining the story. Also you can use coffee or tea stained paper or even make some.
I did something really similar to this. Im italian and here we’ve got a lot of special high schools, i go to the artistico, in which you mostly study art and all that has to do with it. I asked all of my friends to draw me a flower (a pretty small one so it could fit) and their names on it. I have now a case full of tiny little flowers that are from each and every person from my class.

im pretty sure you can also hold sketchbook paper close to a candle/lighter to give it that vintage color

If you dont want to tear books but want the book efect, you can also do this! Grab regular paper, if you want text on it print it on the paper, and dip it in coffee. Let it dry and crumble it up. Unfold it and voila! There is your vintage paper! I love the texture of it too much😂

I think some books have an empty page in the beginning or end so maybe you can rip it from there and you won’t necessarily be ruining the story. Also you can use coffee or tea stained paper or even make some.
Real. It isn’t destroying the story if there’s nothing in the page. It’s reusing!

Actually, I like clear phone cases . But once you’ve had it for a while, it gets boring. So this is a diy way to bring it back to life with colors.

I did something really similar to this. Im italian and here we’ve got a lot of special high schools, i go to the artistico, in which you mostly study art and all that has to do with it. I asked all of my friends to draw me a flower (a pretty small one so it could fit) and their names on it. I have now a case full of tiny little flowers that are from each and every person from my class.
Here’s an idea don’t ruin or tare out any pages from your books grab a piece of paper
Or if you’re wanting it to be that color you can take a used tea bag and wipe it on the paper gives it that effect💕
I would genuinely try this if I didn't have to remove my case every time I wanted to turn on my phone..
