    Out of all the lasers you have shown us This 1 with the enclosure will be best for the type of work I'll be doing thanks for showing this Tomaz 🤠

    Excellent video, I have just fitted this enclosure and could not work out camera settings but you have helped buy confirming it’s a fisheye lens. When you celebrated the camera your numbering was upside down is that a setting I need to enable?

      No special setting, just went with the prompts.

    Hi Tomasz, A great review, and I am edging closer to having one but first I must build a fixed workbench at the back of my small workshop to accomodate the laser!

      @CasualDIY  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Well I'm planning to make a full unit to accommodate my xTool and possibly one more 🤔

    I wish this had been available when I set up my laser. the cheap (not cost wise) one that I picked up broke the second I set something on top of it. now its held together with the handymans secret weapon.
    I'm guessing you don't really smell anything underneath the edges while its running if it kept the entire thing that clear of smoke and smell when you opened it up afterward.

      @CasualDIY  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      No you don't smell anything as it operates. Just keep it closed about 10 seconds after the job is finished. When you open it you will be able to smell it slightly as the residue builds up on the walls of the enclosure. Bit overall it's not bad at all.

    Great review. I am considering buying the A24pro with the enclosure. I have a question regarding the camera. Is there a way to connect the camera over Wifi or just via USB? I gues the enclosed camera is usb only, but is there any useful Wifi camera that could be used? I plan to operate the A24 in a workspace where I do not have a computer nearby. As far as I found out so far, it is possible to operate the Laser via Wifi (I hope that's true) but would be great to have the same for the camera.

    Can it cut 3mm ABS? Thinking about cutting holes in enclosures.

    • @CasualDIY
      @CasualDIY  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Abs will tend to melt and release some harmful fumes. Don't recommend it

      I have read some say it melts others say it’s fine. Was thinking the enclosure and exhaust takes care of the fumes?

      @@CasualDIY yeah I suppose a Heppa? Filter would be required. I haven’t found much about these diode lasers and abs. Maybe it’s the fumes that puts everyone off. I have 500 enclosure lids to cut and currently do on a cnc but laser would be faster I thinm

      @@trevorwhite9138 Don't have too much experience with that. Not sure if a CO2 would be better for this. You need to get more research done on this topic.

    I have this laser and it is great for what laser does :) and speed. But! You have not mentioned that cover is really heavy. That is why I installed front plate permanently. Then I have cover only from top - it is one plate only. It is very easy to open and it is light. Of course you do not have then, this "alarm" on open. Who cares. Also power supply to fan should have an individual switch. I will do this mod myself. Instead, you are provided with Y splitter 24V cable, with one switch for both! i.e. laser and a fan. It is noisy on starting up. I think in your movie - after connecting a laser to power you just disconnected mentioned Y cable from the fan to have no noise in a background. th-cam.com/video/heoe_Rd6gms/w-d-xo.html Finally you cannot print via WiFi from PC, only from mobile. Review should be balanced in pros and cons, not to be a "promo".

      I didn't mention its heavy as I don't find it heavy. I think that's something will find out personally. Not sure if I understood you well, but instead of having a full enclosure you now have just front top and back?
      With the power to the fan that is correct I just pull the connection out, would be better with some sort of a switch. I guess they done that as its easy to forget to turn the fan on. I've done that multiple times with other machines. And this video is not a review, its an overview- basic information on the product.
