I have the one from 1995 and love it, this new one is really cool too. I will have to keep my eye out for NCC-1701-D, the saucer separation sounds really cool. I also have the 2007 Diamond Select "Wrath of Khan" NCC-1701.
Nice! I'm really looking forwards to the D and fingers crossed they bring back Voyager with the moving nacelles!
Thanks for watching!
@@BertTheStormtrooper OMG I would LOVE a Voyager. My second favourite ship after NCC-1701-A
This looks really good. I don't own any ships from Sci-fi, never got to collect those. You'd think I would since I'm a huge Star Trek/Star Wars fan. This looks nice and affordable too, it's worth it.
Definitely worth checking out if you're even remotely interested. I looked at it in stores for the better part of a year before finally deciding to get it and I haven't been able to stop staring at it since!
Thanks for watching!
I ordered it after watching Bert's review. It arrived this morning and it's spectacular!!
Thanks for a great review! I love your TF reviews, didn't know you were a Trek fan, I love to see it! This thing is goregous, I ordered it from Amazon while watching your review :-) My favourite Enterprise is the Movie refit/NCC-1701-A design. I had an airfix model kit of that as a kid. I also had a Dinky Toys original NCC-1701 when I was even younger - it had discs it would shoot by spinning a lever where the bridge was, and on that one the shuttle bay DID open, and there was a little tiny plastic orange shuttle you could sit inside. Sadly this toy met its demise when a "friend" decided to see if it could actually fly, and spoiler - it did not fly well at all, and the nacelles broke off :-( The other Enterprises I have (somewhere) are a playmates NCC-1701-E that came out with First Contact, and an NCC-1701-D I made myself out of lego when I was maybe 14 or something? It's not white though, it's whatever colours of pieces were to hand lol, mostly red! Anyway, I loved your review, can't wait to receive this in a couple of days. Also very much looking forward to seeing their NCC-1701-D ! Live long and prosper, Bert!
I would LOVE to get my hands on a Dinky Enterprise! That little ship is SO COOL!
I'm hoping that Playmates keeps this 're-issue' line going. I'd love to get new versions of Voyager and the Enterprise-E!
Thanks for watching!
I looked for this in the stores for weeks. Could never find one...
Have you tried online? I believe Target still has them.

Great review! It's a very nice replica model! I agree, I like all the included lights, regardless if it's not screen accurate. I have a lot of the Eaglemoss die-cast models, but they are only 5 inches long.
For the price point it is “Spock on” and for very little after purchase investment one can use putty to fill the non-battery access holes, paint them and tint the auxiliary thrusters to print them red. I love mine and give it a total thumbs up, just like your video. Thanks!
The screws actually give this a lot of potential for some mods. Add some missing LEDs. Paint a few bits. Add usb or some other connector to keep it powered on. I'll have to stalk TH-cam and Reddit until someone does this.
I had the original toy it only lit up during sound fx does this one stat lit if you want just lights?
It lights up when you turn it on but sadly it does not stay lit for more than a minute.
Someone suggested they should've included a USB C plug do you could plug it in and leave it lit, like a desk lamp mode and that would have been brilliant!
Thanks for watching!
Nice video. I too have this and I can't stop looking at it either. I cut out a wood base to match the plastic and wired it for usb power. I think the lights on the nacelle look fantastic and am currently trying to figure out how keep the lights on only.
Excellent idea! If you get it figured out please be sure to post a video and share!
Thanks for watching!
It looks great for being a toy. Would look good on display. But still nowhere as good looking as the one from Diamond Select which is a toy but looks like a model kit 🖖🏼
Agreed. There is quite a different between a $40 toy and a $250 collectible (current price on Amazon).
For a $40 toy, I find it very impressive.
Thanks for watching!
Great looking Enterprise.
I'm not a huge Trekkie but my Dad is.
Anytime I see the classic Enterprise I think of watching reruns of the show and the first four movies with my Dad.
I've been going back and forth on getting this since it came out. I finally pulled the trigger and I'm so glad I did!
Thanks for watching brother!
