Ma'am I am new to gardening.. I am facing a strange problem.. I have been growing my money plant in water for about 8 weeks .. But today I noticed something wrong : the roots of my plants are slowly rotting .. I am clueless , as this had never happened before.. ma'am could u please help me find why this is happening and if possible can u please give some tips to help me solve this problem 🙏

Oh my god ..u wont believe what i did..getting all the inspiration from u i just(2-3 months back) bought my money plant coleus..and few others..i also wanted a snake plant..so i took a leaf from my neighbour..cut it into 2..placed one in water and the other in soil..and now i can see tge roots coming out..so i got 2 snake plants for FREE..oh my god i m so excited..all thanks to u

Well, my mother did the exact opposite thing. Today we had to repot a flower pot from a small pot to a big pot. And first she watered that part and within two minutes the plant came out with its roots intact. Then we planted it into another plant. So you don't have to avoid watering your plant for repotting.
If she had watered a sip maybe that would've happened but if you water thoroughly, the soil does disintegrate....
I do the same. I water my plants thoroughly before repotting. This way roots don't break and plant had a good drink before the repotting stress.
@@manjuk1708 This is the main reason i am here. Several other plant people on youtube say watering the plants protects the roots when repotting. Now i'm confused! ...i think i'm going to go with the watering idea, maybe an hour b4 repotting i'll water the roots thoroughly so the soil comes off it relatively easily.

What is the difference between compost and fertiliser and when to add either or both to plants?can you please shed more light on this.
I have a dark red desi hibiscus.. I have successfully made cuttings and got them to survive to propagate them..
I just planted them in the ground today after several days of keeping them in a pot with vermicompost and soil mix..
I hope they survive and grow in the ground...

Can you please do the video on repotting of existing plant which is grown Little bigger. Like of rose plant which is of 3-4 yrs old.
There are other videos that tell you to wash roots and clip off side roots when you repot. I just did that today.

My plant had a lot of dried up roots . Almost falling off the plant . So according to what you are saying I am disturbing a lot of roots.
The nursery I buy from will have plastic caps on the roots, which hinder the growth. This needs to be removed before re-potting. At times while removing the cap, the root is damaged. How do you suggest I go about this process without killing the plant?
I want to know information regarding your opinion about hydroponic home equipments?????How to monitor at home..... .& So on... ..If you can......Plz try to make some videos regarding it......
