These idents I always felt were classy (especially compared to those of their predecessors Westward and TSW) but a bit dull overall. Carlton who eventually took Westcountry over also started 1993 with some pretty dull idents. Really only Meridian at the time came out with impactful idents from the off.

I used to see the Westcountry TV idents while on holiday in Torquay.
These idents I always felt were classy (especially compared to those of their predecessors Westward and TSW) but a bit dull overall. Carlton who eventually took Westcountry over also started 1993 with some pretty dull idents. Really only Meridian at the time came out with impactful idents from the off.
Ah Westcountry - the most disliked Regional Franchise. Never the same as the much loved Westward and TSW.
