i’m infatuated 🤩 🥰✨ dee.. i got a question.. so i’ve been getting better w/ laying my acrylic & shaping. & i’m not the best but i’m growing.. & i wanted to know like how did you start getting clientele.? I’m so shy & afraid of messing up or somebody not feeling my services
You gotta start somewhere sis. Promote your work on Instagram/ Facebook , pass out flyers with specials on them etc. if they know you’re starting off, they should be a lot more understanding of your mess ups
Does it make a difference what color tips you use because my nails never come out this way tapered like I desire them to..they use the white straight tips but it never looks tapered like this..to achieve this look do you have to always use the clear tips?
Why my nails looke so thick? I don’t know what am I doing wrong? Tue tip is thick plus tue powder that they used where I worked I have to wet it really damp so I can run the powder but I’m just frustrated because I do king nails but are to thick. 😭😭😭
Y'all how do nail techs get their clients' nails to look like that shape-wise, the girl I went to had my nails so curved , i know the nail has a natural curve to it and all that, but I couldn't even put my fingers together to take the kind of picture like the one in the thumbnail cause they bend downwards (towards the ground if you laid your fingers e.g horizontal on a table) a lot am i bugging or is it her technique (definitely not going back though)
It could be a number of things from the type or even brand of nail tip she used to her application process. I’m gonna guess and say it was a combination of both but more so the tip she used. She probably used a really curved tip and her placement of it on the nail plate made it more downward. The grit of the nail file makes a big difference too when shaping. I like to use a medium to course grit it makes your shape sharp and nice. Also the biggest key is to not use too much acrylic during the application process and keep the sides clean.
THAT is how you lay acrylic correctly. Great video, thank you Dee.
That is the best method of placement, blending, filing etc on long nails & yet very simple but elegant. Excellent. ❤
The way you do these nails is like art meets science. I’m extremely impressed by the neatness of the shape and acrylic placement
