I loved this, great job! Also, some music in the background would be really nice. Especially when boarding the plane, you could put music over it so that you don’t get all of the noises in the background. Overall a great video!
Thanks Lee! I’ve thought about it but a lot of popular youtubers who do trip reports don’t put music over and it’s better to hear the aircraft sounds. But I’ll take the recommendation!

Awesome trip report! The toilet was not very clean, not so good to see this during the pandemic. I really like the moodlighting. The number of snacks served was so good, better than DL
Hello friend, i have 2 questions. 1) When the plane did takeoff, did you sleep a little? Haha. 2) Why this flight is 6 hours 33 minutes and the flight from DFW to Kona is more than 7 hours?... Is for the wind true? I love B777, it's my favorite plane ,Thanks, and greetings from Venezuela.
Hello friend! I’d be more than happy to answer your questions. 1) After we got to cruise, I slept for a while. I slept pretty decent not going to lie. I woke up around flying over Texas. 2) This flight is usually faster since it’s overnight, and it has better tailwind most of the time. This is a good question, but I think it’s mostly because of winds. Thanks for watching, I appreciate your support for Venezuela.
@@jjaviation850 I totally agree. I’m from the Big Island as well and it’s not as great as what people think it is. Great video . I did not know American did a nonstop out of Kona. Nice.
Yeah, cool! What part of the Big island? And thanks for agreeing. Most people don’t understand what it’s like after a while, people think Hawaii is all like the resorts. And yeah American flies from Kona to LAX, and PHX also.
It’s actually not as bad as one might expect, as long as you bring a neck pillow or a blanket you should be good. It was a bit difficult to sleep but I did it!
Yeah it’s not that bad I did it 2 summers ago.The only bad thing was that My stomach felt weird afterwards.But we had a 3 hr layover in Seattle and my parents let me walk around the airport 😁
Even on overday flights on this exact same aircraft, they serve the same meal. No one really complained because it was overnight and we were only flying for 6 and a half hours. Thanks for watching dude!

Hi, sorry for the late reply. I was bored of youtube and took a break. Kona and Hilo are on on the same island, about 60 miles apart :).

I don't know why the mileage is off at 3:45. The same thing on my flight from HNL to ORD. It is not 7400 miles from KOA to DFW
I agree, I think American’s IFE could be broken. This B772 was 20 years old so I guess it’s not their fault.
AA's 777-223 ER aircraft have Rolls Royce Trent engines, not GE 90.

Thanks yeah haha, actually AA is much better than United on these flights back/forth to Hawaii since United only serves pretzels and a biscoff.

Yes it was! I would much rather fly AA to/from Hawaii than United. American serves more food and their planes are much better than United’s tbh.

Those Hawaii flight back into the actual country are miserable because you leave late and arrive at like 5AM.
