it's a 10% damage debuff on enemies. As long as you hit the boss with your "marking" skills, the boss will take an additional 10% damage from your party.
I haven't been so hyped for a new class since Glaivier, which I still play to this day and almost +20 Brel weapon. Probably won't make a dps version unless I see 1 more dps Paladin.
@@Ashrayni thought they said the frog stays for 2 weeks ( not really sure of the exact number but some time) after artist comes out? Because the chests turned out to be character bound and they wanted us to be able to use it for artist
@@Corusame Can do! Although Artist is a very stagger capable support you won't really need it. Heck I'd say VPH 1x and 2x HA would even work. You have to fiddle around and find your working build. Keep in mind tho the lower your heavy armor is, the more squishy you are. So you gotta dodge them attacks haha!
Isn’t the math for spec scaling: 15% (original amount) x 1.9013 (spec bard spec scaling) = ~30% so double the buff compared to the standard amount instead of a whopping 107% dmg buff?
It should not matter what he thinks about the class he just presented how the class works so ppl make theyr own opinion if they like it or not, i for example after seeing she has a lot of placement skills like bard made her a no no to me, so i gues ill have to wait for the aeromancer to have a Ayaya class :S

Personally I don't mind placement skills and I like my bard just fine but I'm still very much on the fence about whether or not I want to make an Artist and this video didn't actually help me with that decision because it mostly just felt like a build guide. Not a summary of how she feels to play or anything like that. It just wasn't what I was expecting...
@@kevadu there's several other guides and videos of people playing artist in GR or legions that you can watch. Just apply the knowledge of what a video like this informs you of an watch how someone else puts it into practice to get a better feel for how it looks to play

I recently made a DPS set for my 1370 bard and paladin (I've been gone for 8 months, so they've been there awhile.) They only farm oreha hard and Argos, so I use the set when I queue into oreha where there's another support. Their accessories are 100% from the vendor, meaning I have level 3 DPS class engraving without using my engraving slot. They're kinda scuffed, but it's definitely more damage than without the set and can also be fun now and then. All that said, I disagree with 22:08, but I suppose there's a fine line between playing it and "being serious about it." I do understand that ATK doesn't want to be the guy people blame for all the DPS artists running about, so I'll leave it at that.

And now I see, her support build looks so boring to play :( The only nice looking build is her DPS one and it's not efficient so no chance anyone will play with DPS Artist, because everyone only want supp to keep them alive while they having fun :( I was expecting something more interesting from her identity skill then setting healing orbs :( and the gate skill seems very situational and none of your teammates will ever use it anyway. And it turns out all of her most beautiful skills are DPS skills that you shouldn't use. Unfortunate but maybe she's not for me, because she require you to pick all buff skills and spam them. It must be harsh being a support main :(
@@DaxSP7 Not quite, I really believed in this class to be something for me despite my negative attitude towards supports. I wanted it to be the one. I was hoping for 2-3 buff skills that you cast and last some time and then you do dmg (not significant but with style, if you know what I mean) with rest 5-6 skills. Shield/heal identity skill that's visible or even fully supportive ult (not simple orb generator) I don't see anything impactful in her recommend kit just some "invisible" buffs that you spam because they last short time and loop
If supports are not your definition of having fun just don't play it. I am a support main because I find it fun to buff and heal my teammates but I get that's just not for everyone. Supports aren't really able to do damage in lost ark so if you want to see numbers just play a dps class. You can definitely do some insane stuff with the portal skill but yes all you do as a support is cast bufff skills, shield and gather identity meter. If you really want to try the dps artist build you can always look for a fun static that doesn't mind it. I've seen statics having a blast with dps support builds doing prokel. You just shouldn't expect a class to be fun just by the looks of their skills. I made that mistake once and regretted it because even the class was so hyped it turned out to be really boring for me. I'd recommend you just use the event express and powerpass on a class that you'd actually like playing
@@254trojan Your definition of the bad things are what define sups on this game. But maybe you will enjoy Aeromancer (she is also the same model) and plays a dps with some buffs.
At a glance just seems to be like a slightly better Bard, but still a less reliable version of Paladin. Lower uptime on buff, gives up DPS for healing, less shielding, less reliable cleanse and marking as well..
@@Addycomedy2420 no offense but I think that's a you problem. I love playing bard, find it super entertaining and engaging, Paladin on the other hand, I would agree is pretty boring. But in general, if you don't like the role of support you're going to find it boring no matter what class it is.
@@Addycomedy2420 that's why in my first comment I said "in Lost Ark". I've had friends say the same thing after coming from other games. But there's a lot of people that like supports in Lost Ark, I guess you just have to find what you like and stick to it.

That's correct, but don't compare to the base buff, compare to the spec amount of a full swift bard (swift 19.5% vs spec 28%)

trojan, I FEEL YOU so much. I was amazed by her skills animations, and wanted to play her as my first supp class, but now... meh
