    I like that you don't over-do-it on the restoration. These guys are old and they need to display gracefully.

      Yupp, BBs or sheetmetal screws .... They do a good job.

      would the 24 or 111 mantles make a 200a or my 242c burn a little brighter? i do have some old silk lite mantles 21 from the 50`s or 60`s and they do seem to be bigger than the 21

      I've never done a comparison between them, might be something I have to do. The 111s are made for the single burner 500cp lanterns like the 236 and some guys say not to run them on the smaller single lanterns but I do it all the time and have never had a problem with them.

    Someone is selling one of those near. But they want a $175. Is it worth that.
