Watching this reminded me of when I left my life as a 16yo on the Sunshine Coast qld and packed my bags and headed to Julia Creek to start work on 110,000 acres of Downs country for Alistair McClymont then a year later further into the gulf then up towards Macarthur River, Alice Springs, Cape York, then finishing up around the Burdekin near Charters Towers. I left the life to work in the mines to get my Commercial Rotary license but had a ruptured AVM. Can't fly these days, missing the life outback Qld and NT.
