@martyfischetti Dorian isn't necessarily jazz.... just b/cuz jazz players play it doesn't make it a "jazz scale." Just because a lot of Indian music uses the mixolydian mode doesn't make it strictly indian.
@a1gold176 i do terrible covers i can fucking solo amazingly tho and im a great writer i also play drums bass and cello i can read bass cleft and im in 2 bands i recorded with a past band i played bass in i can jam in odd times and i know scales, i just dont know modes i can show you any note anywhere on any of the instruments i can play also i know how to tune drums as guitar goes i can sweep, string skip, probably play faster than you and i can play almost all types of music yeah you got me
