He was in front of Klaebo, so the one that's in front has the right to choose which lane to take. Maeki did the same to Bolshunov in Lahti and didn't even get a warning. Fair game.

Except there was no obstruction in this case. Bolshunov had the right to choose which lane to take and he went for it. It was Klaebo’s responsibility to overtake him, and he went for a gap that wasn’t there. Rightful disqualification.
