I watched it first time maybe 4 years ago and that's the perfect description of what I did.

Man, I can't stop loving this story and its characters!
Fr for me it’s one of the shows where I can’t get invested in anything after watching it
It has been so many years sinc I watched Parasyte. Saw it before the pandemic, and it's still one of my favorite animes, if not my #1 favorite. It's got my favorite openings, it had me in tears, it uad funny moments, at had badass fights, and an ending that left me wanting for more. 10/10 show. Definitely one of the best.

when im 16 i was introduced to read the Manga of Parasite，after finished the whole manga ，i was amazed by the story and wondered why people haven’t animated this series, it was truly a masterpiece, several years pass by and suddenly when i saw it was animated at 2014 I was so excited and when first episode is aired i was in tears, especially when I heard this OP ❤.

I can only imagine how the manga readers would have felt reading Hirokawa's speech back in the 90s. The interesting thing is, Historie is almost the same, detailed artwork and thought-provoking ideas that won't get into the public purview until it is animated into an anime.
