- I took your advice in BeamNG and tried out the drift car that you recommended me. I transported the drift car into the city area and started drifting it. This JBX car is really fast but has more angle than default BeamNG drift cars. The trailer is a repository mod as well. Using Thrustmaster T300 steering wheel and TH8A shifter.

BeamNG is simply the best car simulator ever. Neverending source of fun.
I'm gonna have to grab a copy during the next Steam sale. I was curious about Forza Horison 4, but man... BeamNG just hits all the right notes.
@@billywashere6965, don't. Forza is interesting for only 5-8 hours. Once you familiarized yourself with the gameplay, Forza gives you nothing to keep you focused and gets boring pretty quickly. In the end you start questioning why did you waste 20+ hours on that game at all. BeamNG on the other hand, is great. Every gaming session is different and memorable. Just be sure to get all IRL car mods you're interested in and BeamNG will never let you down.
@@tweed0929 I prefer BeamNG over forza, but I feel like there's even less to focus on in BeamNG. You need to make your own fun, there's nothing to really play FOR. I have a hard time creating my own fun honestly, lol.
@@durrik, that's because as of now BeamNG has no career mode. The game is still in alpha state. They're working on it.

Love the beamng content:) the bouncing should be fixed by today in the hotfix as the 100bx is probably using the 200bx‘s suspension which was bugged from the last update and therefore very bouncy

YOOO GOOSE! Glad your enjoying this with my settings man! BUTT YeaH, that JBX has some insane ffb. Steering binds at full lock too. But is a monsterrr to drift with! Highly highly highly suggest the Gravil Drift PickUp Truck.. That thing is insanely good out the box. Also in the tuning menu for the car you can turn down the ffb multiplier. Cause that thing is wickedly strong lmao. Have a good one bro!
Biggest issue was the rear end bouncing a lot but I guess I should have softened up the coils
@@Goosiest yeah I played with a bunch of settings and some even with the slightest adjustment made big changes, for better and worse 🙃.. it did slide very well on the dedicated drift tracks but still waiting to get back online so I can jump on those maps.

hi goose! i love the beam content, jsut wanted to let you know that the mod you're using requires another mod for its wheels, I think thats why it was grippy and bouncy since it was using default wheels that weren't correct. nice video!

If anyone else is struggling with controllability in Beam - In FF settings I turned the steering deadzone (end) to 0.7, effectively making the rotation degree 360°. I went from being completely unable to drift to it feeling like Horizon 5! No other changes to the car or FF. Might be obvious to soms of yall but it took me while. 😅 Thanks Goose!
