I saw these guys live so many times in Japan when I lived there! Such good dudes I used to always hang out after the show cause I was one of the only Americans there so fun. They would have an artist paint painting at every show that you could then buy such a cool idea
I love how the dude in the gray suit reminds me of Kiryu from Ryu Ga Gotoku. Maybe it is him, considering this is the theme for Ryu Ga Gotoku Kiwami 2.
I just started playing the yakuza series and never realized this song was in the game. I’ve listened to this band for years and i just got a whole new perspective of this video now that I’m familiar with the games. I thought the person on the album set was the singer cuz of the clothes but it always seemed so off like from something else. It all makes sense now
not gonna lie this probably wasn't the best song to be listening to when you're fucking crying about RYUJI of all characters fucking dying like i swear to god
I kinda thought this was a great song for the moment. To give my experience, I wasn’t too sad at Ryuji’s death, not because he was a bad character I still thought he was great, but because he pushed through getting beat by Kiryu the first time and then getting shot twice just so he could die on his own terms, in one final death match between him and Kiryu, saying goodbye to his only blood family right after saving the day. Even if he died, he died like Nishiki, in one final burst of redemption for what he’s done, which is a way better death than some of the majority of dead characters in the series. It probably helped that some of his last words were telling his sister to smile, giving the impression that he wouldn’t be happy with people mourning his death.
I hope SiM read my comment . I would like to say that I love your songs and compositions. I think it's amazing how they excel at intermingling so different rhythms and tones. Each song I had the pleasure to hear brought a different excitement, from something more syace and romantic (?!) Like in "Rosso & dry" or more frenetic like in "Let it end". I just can not stop listening to your songs and I look forward to many more. Do not give up this unique way of translating feelings in music, because is brilliant.
