- K9 teams from across the country come to Houston to compete for one week at the Texas K9 Officer Conference & Trials, hosted by K9s4COPs. The trials include narcotics, explosives, patrol and a rigorous obstacle course.
At the end of the week, 27 of the nation’s top K9s competed for the coveted title of Hard Dog & Fast Dog in the 2nd annual Texas Hard Dog Fast Dog competition.
First time I’ve watched one of these videos where I cried. I guess because I’m tired this morning, the music on this video was perfect, and I love dogs like crazy. I enjoyed this so much. Thanks!

I don’t think placing them any order is at all worthy. They are all wonderful officer dogs who throw themselves in with dedication and heart to bring down the baddies. Love them all!

Always great to see the top end dogs doing bite work. They hit like a freight train. I have video from a training day back in the 90's at a kennel I trained at back then. Large male Rottweiler doing a pursuit muzzle attack. The decoy (Mitch) took off running and the female handler sent the dog, it ran up behind Mitch, leapt into the air 6-8' out. As it closed the distance, the dog turned his head sideways and punched Mitch right in the back of the next with the muzzle. No, not trained to do that - just the target choice the dog made that afternoon. That would ruin your day.

This makes me cry too. Because it's powerful and intense. My daughter's German Shepherd is 100 lbs. I used to walk her but now I take her in the yard. I three bad falls walking her and had to call the fire department. To help me get up.

I heard malinois hit harder than German Shepherds.But can anyone explain to me? I have a question.What does hard hitting dog mean? Does it mean like it has enough power to take down enemies
Hard hitting dog means they are able to take down an enemy to the ground, and since they run faster it's a lot easier to take them down. Some German Shepherds are hard hitting though.
