Just made my first batch . Thank you for this video . They came out really good just like cafe du monde. lol your so economically clean while doing yours . My kitchen had flour everywhere after I was done .

I watched this video and tried to make them recently not sure what I did wrong maybe I rolled them too flat but they didn’t puff up too much they came out flat
@@SeasonedCuisine it’s not expired at all. Maybe it’s because it’s yeasty and I don’t know if yeast has a smell to it but I’ve never really smelled it before

Thank you so much. I used my iPhone 10, but changed the camera setting to 1080p HD at 60 fps or higher. Now I use my iPhone 12 and record at 4K.

I notice the premade from box doesn’t really puff up like the dough from scratch

Did you ever notice a weird smell to the beignet powder? Like not a terrible smell but maybe a spoiled milk smell?
Never. Did you check the expiration date?

@@ashyadanae1313 activated yeast smells like fresh baked bread to be unless it’s really fermented. The beignet mix shouldn’t smell like spoiled milk
