the pancake pan for the little pancake is called a 'poffertjes pan' ! it is a dutch food, wich originally comes from France. it started being a thing when everyone was very poor over there, in the dark ages. the Dutch people some how took it over and started selling it by the name 'poffertjes'. We normally eat it with butter and powdered sugar. If you ever feel like getting a portion, visit Volendam, I work at a place where they sell them (you can get them throughout the whole of the Netherlands though :) ). hope you learned something new today haha (sorry if my sentences are a bit strange, if you didn't catch it already I am dutch haha)
Im not really somebody to judge for food waisting, I myself throw food away when its on my plate and i started eating it and I get full, but throwing around complete and fine pancakes.. We also bought products and gave it to families who had a lot of children, but didn't have financial resources for everyone. During my uni life my friends and I helped to young girls who became moms (we bought some stuff for their babies). Peace to everyone and don't be so angry!

The little pancakes are called : 'poffertjes'. Its a Dutch dish, you are supposed to first spread a thin layer of butter and than sprinkle it with icing sugar. Its very delicious!
