Ermanno, this is such a great tutorial for a base install. Thank you so much for your time putting this together. It is 8 months old now and I see the channel appears to have stop publishing. The next one in this series is greatly missed. I hope you are ok and just busy with life and will be in a position to continue creating your excellent content in the near future.
Dear brother I'm so glad to see you, you have no idea how many people you have helped and encouraged into the trade of 'it' that though they just wasn't smart enough! I'm so glad that you're such a wonderful person and a living example of what someone can do if they just forth the effort! Much ❤ bro
one of the things i love to do these days, is watching arch installs. The base install is almost identical, with some small details everyone does differently. However i like to see what packages people consider required nowadays. i learned a lot from this channel, can't thank you enough. I hope you are well my friend, and i'll be here (i hope) to watch your next arch install :)
Thank you so much for this fantastic guide video. The thorough explanation and detailed steps are incredibly helpful. Please consider returning for the next video in this series. Would very much appreciate your guidance for the next steps.
This video is incredibly useful, I'm installing Arch for learning purposes, and how you explain things is really clear and concise. Thanks for this awesome material!
Amazing man just became an Arch User only after 6 hours of auto install and then said to myself I can learn this and installed it along side windows and practice installing it in a VM. ❤
so nice to have you back! I have been able to run Arch Linux with KDE because of one of your videos. No one explains things as clearly as you do. Easily one of the best channels on youtube. Thank You!
Hello Ermanno! I use Arch and enjoy your simple approach to installing. I've referenced your videos many times getting BTRFS and Snapper working. Thanks for all you do.
Hey, I have been using arch for about 2 years and I have been very happy with it, and that was all thanks to you and the tutorials you put out ! I love your work, I learned a lot thanks to it !
Thank you very much, Ermanno! I've been using your videos to learn the basics of an Arch linux installation since your persistent USB stick videos! Seeing you come back just in time for my first dual boot was amazing and I look forward to the next installation of this updated series. You teach me about Arch better than everyone else I've looked towards, and for the many arch installations I've done so far, they were all made easier to understand and execute because of you. Glad to see you're back!
This is by far the most detailed, nicely explained, with great sound , Arch installation .... Great video, thank you so much. I love Arch Linux and we need people like you to learn from 👍
Welcome back Ermanno 👍 You tutorials about Arch Linux are beyond outstanding, and also the reason why I use, today, Arch on a daily basis 🎉 Thank you for your work, wish you the best 👍
Dear Ermanno, I am extremely glad, very happy to see you again! And you look younger and healthier! Great video as usual, BTW. Maybe after Sway (or together) you could make one with Hyprland? Though currently not using Arch, definitely I am looking forward to resume learning from you. Thank you!
Heey! Sir Ermano, sooo glade to see you again! I reeealy learnd a looot from your videos about linux and I'm now managing my own cluster using GCP, OCI and AWS. Thank yousir for averythink you did for Open Source community ❤
Hi Ermanno! How are you? I just wanted to thank you. My Arch journey started on your channel many years ago. Since then, I have been using Arch daily. I hope that you're well.
I was a complete beginner to the manual side of linux (partitioning drives, etc) and your videos were a huge help and you did such a great job explaining concisely and why we were doing what we were doing. I'm really enjoying Arch now and the customization it brings - thanks so much!
Google recommended this video.... I watched about 4:30 and saw it was just another arch install video (I think?) and dipped out.... Then googled asked how fun this video was about an hour later.... I said it was the most fun I've had all year, and now.... I'm about to watch another arch install video (this one) because this algorithm is gonna be lit. Hahaha
Dear Ermanno, your video was very helpful. I installed my Arch as a "work assignment" by aBunny :P I used your video as instructions and was Installing along with you on my Tuxedo Laptop.
Ermanno, you're an amazing teacher. This was a class taken about the system. Learned a lot through the entire process. I'm just a beginner on Arch and was trying without success installing the SO. Even used the archinstall script but was facing sound issues. Thank you so much for the detailed explanation on each step of the process. I loved it and will wait for the follow up (if it's not already on the channel - I'm about to look for it yet). Really my friend, I can't thank you enough for this lesson. Greetings from Brazil.
Love these videos Ermanno, missed them a lot and happy to see a new one. I actually installed Arch for the first time in a long time last week, and I used to use you videos as a checklist to make sure I got everything right.
I hope Ermanno is able to start making videos again soon! I’ve been using Arch for about 3 months and these videos are an amazing resource. I really appreciate the approach he uses to teach. Hope he’s doing well 🤘🏻
Welcome back, Teacher! Really missed you. And, as always, great video teaching not just how to install Arch Linux but how Linux actually works as well. Love.
Welcome back! As always, thank you for investing your time and patience in creating such extensive and informative demonstrations. This tutorial can be extremely beneficial to those who are willing to take their first baby steps in that regard. If you ever have the time for another Arch-related adventure, give Obarun a try. You already possess some knowledge about s6 and 66-suite, so it certainly wouldn't be an unfamiliar experience to someone with your skills.
Ermanno, glad to see you back, hope you are well. If you could publish your list of commands typed in a text file for us to use as a checklist, that would be great. If already available elsewhere, please enlighten me. Cheers!
Glad to see you again, you helped many people, keep it up. and I'm asking for a video how to install runit instead of systemd ,hope u make a video about it.
Man this dope, and welcome back EF, tbh I miss your content and the good news is, we have similar background and work as Sysadmin / DevOps and your content teach me a lot. Arch is my main OS.
I happy that you are back. Really like your channel and the way how you lead us. Question, did you tried NixOS and its Nix package manager? Seems to be challenging as Arch is. Maybe you could shoot some video about. Thanks! Antoni
Welcome back! Glad to see you're well 😊 Can you put chapters in this video? Also, Im interested about immutable distros. Would you be interested in doing some educational videos about what makes a distro immutable?
Hello Ermanno, great to see you're back! I would like to ask you a question, if you agree of course😊. Is it possible to install linux mint without grub and use systemd-boot? If yes, how?😅

With that setup I might go with ext4.

Glad to see a new video on the channel. Thanks a lot!
Good job mate 👍
Welcome back! Glad to see you're well 😊
Can you put chapters in this video?
Also, Im interested about immutable distros. Would you be interested in doing some educational videos about what makes a distro immutable?

Exactly.
