All the members o the band are classically trained in Boston, however, and have their own influences that they bring to the writing. The fact that all of their albums are connected concept albums , comes mainly from their guitarist I believe.

My brain still can’t comprehend just how good and satisfying that growl on “dream” is towards the end of the song. Superb. The whole song is superb, but from “the sleep I longed for [...]” all the way until the end is what really does it for me. This has to be in my top 5 Seven Spires songs.
Agreed my favorite metal genres are either Power/Symphonic or Black/Death and I've also been into strong female lead singers so this band is everything I love about metal all rolled together into one band! I can't believe I've been so out of the loop on them!
I don't know of a singer who can more skillfully layer and harmonize with their own voice. These barks and high pitched belts are really something to behold.
Just discovered this band because I am going to see Eluvetie in March and they are an opener. I am so excited!! Been in love with type of music for 20 years now. So looking forward to this!!! This is my new favorite band!!!

In case you were unaware, Cowan has actually done vocal covers of at least two Dimmu Borgir songs (that I know of). She did a vocal cover of The Serpentine Offering, and she was featured on a full band cover of Progenies of the Great Apocalypse.
I love the contrast to the light and uplifting "succumb" I think this album is going to tell a great story. My second most anticipated album release of the year after Nightwish's new album.

Man, everything I’ve heard from Adrienne Cowan/Seven Spires so far has been simply amazing! Really love the keyboards/orchestration and of course that majestic singing voice. So refreshing hearing something new and exciting ^_^
I love this because it is so much more approachable than a lot of metal. Just like some Jazz is just too “outside” and complex to enjoy. Seven Spires is melodic and listenable,and the songs are well crafted. Great work !
